Bills will probably take Legette.
I’ll bet. :smileWe’ll have to wait until tomorrow to find out. They traded back another spot!
04/26/2024 at 3:53 am #1090178the Buffalo Bills have traded out of the 1st Round Entirely, with the Carolina Panthers
Pick 32: Panthers Select: WR – Xavier Legette – South Carolina
04/26/2024 at 3:53 am #1090179That has been your 1st Round coverage of the 2024 NFL Draft
04/26/2024 at 3:54 am #1090180I guess the Bills didn’t want Legette!
See you guys tomorrow.
04/26/2024 at 11:36 am #1090181Um a few things to Note here, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Chiefs go after a 2nd WR actually I’m kind of expecting them too, Several Day 2 WR’s still available such as
Ladd McConkey
Adonai Mitchell
Keon Coleman
Malachi Corley
Roman Wilson
Ja’Lynn Polk
Troy Franklin
Jalen Mcmillen
Brenden Rice
Jacob Cowing
Javon Baker
Luke McCaffrey
Jermaine Burton
OT at this Point Are mostly Developmental Guys Except for
Kingsley Suamataia he could come in a and compete with Wayna Morris for the Left Tackle Spot
others include
Blake Fisher
Christian Jones
Roger Rosengarten
Matt Goncalves (Potential for Later Round Pick at Right Tackle)
And Patrick Paul who has been mocked to the Chiefs many times
Cornerback is a few
Cooper DeJean
Kool-Aid McKinstry
Ennis Rakestraw Jr.
Kamari Lassiter
Kris Abrams-Draine
And my Draft Stud Sleeper Max Melton
DT is interesting cause from the 1st to 2nd and 3rd the falloff is huge
For me there is only 3 I would Take
Michael Hall Jr.
T’Vondre Sweat
Mekhi Wingo
EDGE is similar
Only ones I feel fit the Chiefs System are
Mohamed Kamara is a monster
Austin Booker
I believe we could look at an OT plus an Interior guy the next 2 days. Keep and eye on
Dominik Puni (Can Play all 5 Offensive Line Positions)
and the Steal of the Draft for interior Linemen would be Zak Zinter he had a pretty nasty ACL injury towards the end of the Season last year, He is like the Trey Smith pick last year
04/26/2024 at 10:32 pm #1090182Some quick reactions to the Chiefs move and pick:
[h=2]Who was the best pick of the night?[/h]Miller: Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas to the Chiefs at No. 28. What has the Chiefs’ offense been missing since trading away Tyreek Hill? A legit deep threat with high-end speed. Well, they’ll have the fastest player in combine history — Worthy ran a 4.21-second 40-yard dash — running go routes for Patrick Mahomes. Worthy is a speed demon, but he’s also a complete route runner. And he had great production early in his career as a punt returner. He’s not as big or physical at the catch point as Hill — he’s only 165 pounds — but the deep ball is back in Kansas City.
[h=2]What was the best trade up, down or for a player during Round 1?[/h]Yates: The Chiefs trading up to No. 28 from No. 32 for Worthy. My consistent evaluation of Worthy during the pre-draft process was that he would be an ideal fit for a team that won’t press him into No. 1 receiver duties out of the gate. And Kansas City won’t, with Travis Kelce, Rashee Rice and Marquise Brown in town. Worthy adds a dynamic element to a Chiefs team that up until the playoffs really struggled to generate explosive plays. He and Brown inject this roster with world-class speed.
[h=2]More picks [Mel Kiper] liked[/h]I was surprised the Bills made a deal with the Chiefs to allow Kansas City to take wideout Xavier Worthy, who is more than just a record-breaking speedster. Worthy is not going to be the next Tyreek Hill, but he can fly after the catch and has some route-running ability. Kansas City got Nos. 28, 133 and 248, while Buffalo acquired Nos. 32, 95 and 221.
04/26/2024 at 11:18 pm #1090183Round 2
Pick 1: Buffalo Bills Select: WR – Keon Coleman – Florida State
04/26/2024 at 11:22 pm #1090184I think the Chargers are gonna take McConkey..
04/26/2024 at 11:22 pm #1090185Pick 2: the Chargers have traded into Pick
Los Angeles Chargers Select: WR – Ladd McConkey – Georgia
04/26/2024 at 11:25 pm #1090186I figured that was why they traded up to get Ladd, because the Bills didn’t take him.
04/26/2024 at 11:29 pm #1090187Pick 3: Arizona Cardinals have traded the pick to the Atlanta Falcons
Falcons Select: DT – Ruke Orhorhoro – Clemson
04/26/2024 at 11:30 pm #1090188Another “head-scratcher” pick for the Falcons.
04/26/2024 at 11:37 pm #1090189Pick 4: Washington Commanders Select: DT – Johnny Newton – Illinois
04/26/2024 at 11:39 pm #1090190Pick 5: New England Patriots Select: WR – LaLynn Polk – Washington
That is a good get for the Pats
04/26/2024 at 11:42 pm #10901913 more wide receivers in the first 5 picks. Teams are picking position-of-need over best player available. There are a lot of really good defensive players still on the board.
