    i agree.

i wouldve loved to have seen both Pollard and Berry at the Safeties.( But our pass D at safety might suck tho:D)

Berry will get better. He’s only 21, and was one of the best coverage safeties college football has seen in years, just adjusting to the pro game still. His run support has been a nice surprise.

Sometimes when LJ gets the ball I like to make a sandwich or order a pizza. Usually around the time I’m done he’s finally at the line of scrimmage. :)

In all seriousness though, it’s nice to see him have a decent game but I’m still waiting for him to have an efficient one with over 4 YPC and a touchdown. He does seem to have a lot more success on runs outside of the tackles which isn’t surprising since Waters, Niswanger, and Goff are all terrible.

For what? His post violate any rules. Just because his point of view may be unpopular or does not align with yours does not mean he’s done anything worthy of banning.

How about the fact that he has 27 posts and none of them have contributed anything useful to the forum? In fact nothing he says makes any sense whatsoever. On top of that, he’s obviously not a Chief’s fan. He has super negative rep too, and I haven’t even had any part of that.

lucky lefty you better just start putting our losses in your sig, were never hanna win a game….we won’t be the first to go 0-16 atleast”

ok so we saved part of Tonys ceerer so let’s not suficate all of his.Poor Bowe sits there not being thrown to.Save his ceerer”

yag I just figured out we suck”

it’s over we just lost 2 games to start the season off.”

Well it’s pretty obvious why I’m seeing a lot on this….Chargers win the Division at 8-8 maybe 9 wins,Broncos win 6,And us…well 3-5,And the Raiders will pull of 3-5 too.So really whoever losses tomarrow will finish in the Wine cellar.

Also, his spelling offends me. But whatever, go ahead and keep giving me warnings and infractions while non-fans like this are ruining the forums one incoherent post at a time.

You’ll never see me attack anyone who actually contributes here, for what it’s worth.

Gutierrez was going against practice squad guys and Croyle was facing 2nd team NFL players.

Based on Croyles play against Minnesota, I think it is up to him and Thigpen for the 3rd position. Frankly, I would rather keep Thigpen.

At least he took a hard shot to the Chin and still got up and played. Thats a plus.

You’re saying Gutierrez is going to be 2nd string?

Yes, the WR’s are TERRIBLE. During that game, he threw 5 passes. 2 which were complete, 3 in complete and out of the 3, 2 of them were dropped.

Your expecting what you saw in NE. That ain’t going to happen. No Moss, no Welker, no Gaffney, no Backs to throw to.

Everyone has to realize that cassel is going to have to adjust to the new team mates, coaches, and coaching styles. Just back off and give him time.

I have no problem with how he played last Saturday. I actually though he looked pretty good. But I still don’t like hearing about Brodie Croyle outplaying him in camp.

Cassels balls were thrown perfectly. We just have some awful WR.

Jesus, why is everyone putting so much pressure on Cassel in camp? Do you think Brady, Manning, Brees, or some other high end QB looks like the best in camp?

No, but don’t you think they sure as hell look better than the 3rd stringers?

Why are they putting so much pressure on him in camp? I can give you 63 million reasons… Big contracts don’t come without expectations, and Haley doesn’t strike me as the type who is going to give any player a free pass because of their paycheck. That’s Herm Edwards style.

I’m a sucker for Mizzou players. We definitely forgot to draft a pass rusher, so I’d like it if we took a look at him.

You know, I was nothing but polite to KansasCityChris until he (wrongly) claimed that I wasn’t a real fan. And (wrongly) claiming that I have been nothing but negative about the Chiefs. Hell, I’ve been nothing but sunny about the Pioli/Haley era. I’m a fairly negative guy. I was pissed off for most of 2008 at many of the Chiefs players, all coaches not named Chan Gailey, and at every front office loser ruining the team. I still have problems with some players (McIntosh, Page, Morgan, etc.), but if anyone can point me to a place where I’ve said anything but that we’re on the right track now, I’ll give you $20.

And if it were someone we at least respected, I wouldn’t have been as angry. I mean, dbolan, you’re wrong about many, many things. But you are at least wrong for the right reasons. But come on, should I have to take insults from the likes of KansasCityChris?

Maybe you should stop being so “inmature”.

I dont think San Diego is in their prime. Their best Offensive Guard plays for us now. Merriman is a huge question mark and his replacement is a rookie (Larry English.) The new D-line coach is Don Johnson who was the D-line coach for Oakland the past two seasons. Their best D-lineman Jamal Williams got a DUI earlier this year and will probably miss the first couple games. Their second best D-lineman, Igor Olshansky went to Dallas. To top it all off, they probably have the weakest Safeties in our division (Clinton Hart, Eric Weddle, not impressive.) Ladanian is old and not what he used to be and I dont think Sproles can handle more than 20 touches a game. No matter what anybody says, Norv Turner does not impress me as a head coach. Overall they have a great young quarterback and tight end, but not much else shines. Im not convinced JM. You might be right, but I just dont see it.

No offense, but that was kind of a homer post.

I watched a lot of San Diego last year because I had Sunday Ticket and LT on my $500 fantasy team. Goff was one of the weak points on that offensive line. The right side was actually pretty bad. He’s an upgrade for us, but they let him walk for a reason.

Gates is now far and away the best TE in the division, they have big physical receivers. Rivers was the most efficient QB in the league last year. LT was clearly playing through turf toe and couldn’t do anything. I’d bet anything that he’ll be a lot better this year.

I hate the guy’s guts for effectively ending Priest Holmes career, but Merriman is an incredible football player and that defense is nasty if he’s on the field.

San Diego will win the division pretty easily. I’ll put money on it.

7-9 would be a great season. We are in a transition period of epic proportions and anything close to .500 would be a very successful season, in my opinion of course.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go brush my 34 teeth.
