It would be nice to get a win instead of just falling short like we have the last 4 weeks.

“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”

“I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. Already they have raised up a monied aristocracy that has set the government at defiance. The issuing power (of money) should be taken away from the banks and restored to the people to whom it properly belongs.”

    – Thomas Jefferson

“I have never seen more Senators express discontent with their jobs….I think the major cause is that, deep down in our hearts, we have been accomplices in doing something terrible and unforgivable to our wonderful country. Deep down in our heart, we know that we have given our children a legacy of bankruptcy. We have defrauded our country to get ourselves elected.”

    – John Danforth (R-Mo)

“From now on, depressions will be scientifically created.”

“The financial system has been turned over to the Federal Reserve Board. That Board asministers the finance system by authority of a purely profiteering group. The system is Private, conducted for the sole purpose of obtaining the greatest possible profits from the use of other people’s money”

    – Charles A. Lindbergh Sr., 1923

“A great industrial nation is controlled by it’s system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the world–no longer a government of free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of small groups of dominant men.”

    – President Woodrow Wilson

LJ will not go to a division rival. Not even Carl is that stupid.

The faders… have DMC and Fargas still. They wouldn’t want to pay LJ and probably don’t have enough money left to pay him anyway after blowing their wad on injury-prone, underachieving free agents last offseason.

    Great taste!

No kidding, I thought I was Mr. Criticism around here. There’s still things I’m fishy about with this team, but what’s the point in barking about team cancers and crappy players when we own a team like the Broncos? People just need SOMETHING to complain about, huh?

You’re right, people just want to complain and fight about something. I understand that people still have their reservations about this team and that they feel strongly about their opinions. I’m not sold on us yet, either. But calling people idiots and telling them you would kick the $h!t out of them is just showing how small your balls are. Anybody can be tough on the internet. It’s not impressive. And if that’s what people need to do to feel better about themselves, it’s pretty pathetic. If somebody wants to fight so bad, go get drunk and get in a fight somewhere– do the rest of us a favor and get arrested so we can get a reprieve from their stench.

Oh… my… God… People want to argue more after we get a win… Screw this crap. I’m outta here until people can stop being retarded.

I’ll still take 198 yard and 2 TD performances while he’s here, tho.

The thing LJ did well yesterday was find the holes. When he’s had poor performances, it’s looked like he just running the called play to a hole that was really never there. Yesterday, he was showing good vision by cutting it back and/or bouncing outside– something he started doing again last week in ATL.

I’m just glad to see the old LJ back. He’s running hard again and getting some success… maybe building some confidence in his line? I think so. When the subject of LJ came up around the house, I kept telling everybody that if him and the team get pissed with the losing and lack of production, he would turn into a monster again. If him and the line keep getting more in tune and develop more confidence with each other, the ball that is LJ has just started rolling.

It’s so great that we all get to be heroes and sacrifice our hard-earned money that we already don’t have enough of in order to bail-out corporations that ship our jobs overseas. The world would truly be a dismal place if CEO’s couldn’t play golf or had to give up their Benz and 72 inch flat screens. I love social-capitalism…
