We’re gonna be cutting a good WR as is with Remiggio, Toney, Sky Moore, Justyn Ross, and Hardman already on the block. If we sign Juju, two of the above names would be out.
I’m not overly concerned about losing the game against the Lions, but I am concerned about our WR corp. Without Kelce, they look pedestrian at best. Starting off 0-2 would be a horrible way to start the season, so lets hope Kelce is ready by next week.
The plan is to move Taylor to left tackle. Orlando Brown was too focused on getting a peak contract instead of peak SB rings. Thanks Orlando, good luck with your next team.
Turnovers have been a big part of it. We are ranked 30th out of 32 teams in the giveaway/takeaway ratio. Not many teams can sport an 11-3 record with that kind of stat. Our passing defense has been suspect all season as suspected. Our special teams has been forgettable all season when historically it has been a strength. Tyreek is gone, lots of injuries to OL, Hardman, JuJu, CEH, etc. And despite all those bad stats, we are 11-3 and those 3 losses were by 10 points combined. We just won the division, for the 7th straight year and we have a punchers chance at a first round bye. It’s not always been pretty, but I feel like we’ve got a shot against any team come post season.
Mental mistake by Pat when he threw it behind the line of scrimmage on the final play of the 1st half. Mental mistake by Pat when he signals for a timeout when we have none. Mental mistake not throwing the ball away at the end 2H and taking a bad sack. Mental and physical mistake by not protecting the ball leading to fumble that our OL luckily recovered.
If the Chiefs kick a FG at the end of the 1st half they enter the locker room with a 4 possession lead and start the 2H with the ball. Game over.Maybe its just me, but I find this whole TE University thing a little narcissistic and bad form. If there really is some secret strategy of getting open as a tight end, why share it with players on teams you’ll be facing in the playoffs?

It will be interesting to see how this pick does over time. But as it stands, getting a LT like Orlando Brown for a late 1st round pick will be a steal if we get him to stay on a long term deal.
The pass rush was non-existent tonight. Derek Carr played well, but Tom Brady will put on a clinic next week if that pass rush decides to take a 3rd week of vacation. CEH and the offense played well.
Hoping Bell doesn’t become a locker room problem. Seems unlikely that Bell is gonna stay quiet coming off the bench, but there’s little question in my mind that Bell is better than our RB2 and RB3 options. He makes our team better if he can assimilate.
