I think well soon see either minimized operating systems for tablets and phones and a separate one for computers or OS’s will simply get simpler for all platforms.
Absolutely agreed. The “Start” menu appears to be designed specifically with touch screens in mind.

I only ask because I think it is recommended that you not install it on your primary. If you have installed it on your primary PC I hope you backed up your data.

I don’t intend to use it at home but I am sure that the day it comes out it will be used at work so that’s why I will have to get use to it.

I filled the 250 GB on my laptop in less than a year. Now I don’t have the money for 1 TB HD so I’m getting by, by dumping files onto DVD-Rs … 4.7 Gigabytes at a time!
I need to save up and get a new external HD. I guess the Maserati will just have to wait.
03/15/2012 at 2:26 pm #993190Beta means testing testing so they want feedback from the consumer. no thanks. im hangin on to my XP. my machine was having problems from wear and tear. so I put in a rebuilt motherboard and she runs like new. ill keep riding this horse

I gotta tell ya the more I use Windows 8 the more I like it! :yahoo:
