I feel so old at 53 compared to some of y’all, hahaha.

Mine show’s two in 1956! Elvis’ Don’t Be Cruel and Hound Dog, haha. I’m assuming because both were hit’s on flip sides of a 45?

Lordy, most in this thread weren’t born when 45 rpm’s were how we listened to music, lol.

I love me some classic Elvis! I was 21 when he died, and think from when Sun Records first signed him his career spanned 22 yrs. until his death, so coincided with my age less a year.

      Maggie May – Rod Stewart

“Wake up Maggie, I think I’ve got something to say to you…”

I was 14 or 15 when Maggie Mae was #1!

I have fun memories and stories related to the lyrics in Maggie Mae, hahaha. :)
