Member::“The Simpsons” on “Channel TEN“. Episode: The Simpsons 138th Episode Spectacular.
PLOT:
Troy McClure hosts this episode, which highlights individual scenes and sequences from throughout the show and offers never-before-seen outtakes. McClure starts the episode by showing a brief presentation of how The Simpsons series was conceived by Matt Groening, James L. Brooks, and Sam Simon. He goes on to present some clips of the original shorts that aired on the The Tracey Ullman Show, including the first one, “Good Night“, in its entirety.[2] Next, a presumed commercial break is introduced with a trivia question about the message that appears when Maggie Simpson is scanned by the cash register during the show’s opening sequence; the answer is revealed to be “NRA4EVER.” The show then returns to McClure, who responds to questions from fan mail by showing clips that contain the answers. The letters include questions on Homer’s growing stupidity, how the cast and crew can create an episode per week, and hints of Waylon Smithers‘ homosexuality.
Another commercial break is then introduced with a trivia question, this time concerning which two popular characters have died within the past year; the answer is revealed to be Bleeding Gums Murphy and Dr. Marvin Monroe, although none of them were ever popular. McClure then presents deleted scenes from Simpsons episodes, “Krusty Gets Kancelled“, “$pringfield (Or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Legalized Gambling)“, “Mother Simpson“, “Treehouse of Horror IV“, “Homer and Apu“, and “Burns’ Heir“.
McClure also reveals that alternate endings to part two of “Who Shot Mr. Burns?” were created to prevent the staff on The Simpsons from spoiling the mystery that “all of America was trying to solve […] this past summer”. These alternate endings, most of which consist of random characters shooting Mr. Burns, conclude with a more elaborate ending in which Smithers is revealed to be the assailant. Troy McClure ends the episode by showing a montage of “hardcore nudity” (scenes of The Simpsons characters naked), set to the KC and the Sunshine Band song “Shake Your Booty“.Chalkboard: “I will only do this once a year”
Couch Gag: A montage of a select few previously aired couch gags, culminating into the showbiz extravaganza couch gag from “Lisa’s First Word“

Member::“The Simpsons” on “Channel TEN” Episode: Team Homer
PLOT:
Unable to afford the $500 registration fee to join a bowling league, Homer and his friends (Moe, Apu, and Otto) go to Mr. Burns for a sponsorship. Homer sneaks into Burns office, where he finds an anesthetized Burns. Homer takes this opportunity to get Burns to sign the check. Meanwhile, at school, Bart’s “Down with homework” T-shirt incites a student riot, and as a result, everyone is forced to wear uniforms.
Back at the bowling alley, Homer and his friends enter the bowling league competition, calling themselves the Pin Pals. They beat three teams before moving up into second place in their league. Meanwhile, Burns recovers from his stupor and discovers the check he wrote to Homer. Burns decides to replace Otto in the team, and since Burns is a horrible bowler, the team is convinced they will lose the championship.
Back at school, Skinner’s dress code demoralizes the students until a rainstorm soaks through the uniforms, causing the gray color to be washed out, revealing tie-dye colors that make the playful spirit of the children return. At the bowling alley, before the championship game begin, Burns gives the team new shirts. Two pins away from victory, Burns takes his turn. Otto tips over a vending machine and the vibrations help the Pin Pals win by knocking down the pins. As the team celebrates their win, Burns takes the trophy and keeps it for himself.Chalkboard: I am not certified to remove asbestos“
