Funny thing is, I think I heard Rush used to work in ticket sales for the Chiefs circa 1980.

You’re right. I searched on google and found some sites that said it was the Royals. I think what I had recalled was Rush once talking about how the Chiefs around 1980 weren’t selling as much tickets since the team wasn’t doing good around that time. Whereas the Royals by contrast had fantastic years (and thus undoubtedly high ticket sales) in the late 70’s-early 80’s period.
