Yeah i have had two, but since buying my elite last year, havent had a single problem. I think they finally fixed it, at least i havent heard as much about it and mine is perfect.
I was talking with a co worker who has a Masters in marketing, and he was telling me how he is on his third 360. And he proceeded to tell me that it says a lot about a company, when they can sell a shoddy product yet people keep buying them up. And hes got a point, no matter my past experiences, i keep buying them and always will. (hopefully this 360 will last me for the remainder of the 360’s life span though)

MemberYou can fix RROD on the 360 if you don’t mind fiddling around with the internals of the system.
Saved me a some cash (I think I spent maybe 10$ bucks to fix it and a couple of hours of time)…
Edit: It happened to mine (my first system bought it when it first came out) and it works like a charm after I fixed it.

MemberIm not sure but I remember something about a 3 year warranty for rrod issues. I bought my 360 at a pawn shop, a month later I got the rrod and called XBOX and they took it in and fixed it free, also said I had another 2.5 years warranty. I appearently got my 360 at about 4 months old.
