QB Kyle Shurmur has been released by the Chiefs opening the door For QB Jordan Ta’Amu
Add Dustin Colquitt
To that glad his last year was a championship he deserved it for sure
Good-bye, Dustin Colquitt — the last player from the Dick Vermeil era. Thank you for your service in KC and glad you got to get a Super Bowl ring.
Shame to see him go. Wasn’t he drafted by Herm Edwards? Got a feeling that he’s going to be one of those guys, regardless of stats, that we’ll begin to miss now that he’s gone. Thanks for all the great years of football, and very glad Colquitt got to finish out with a ring.

No, he was taken in round 3 in 2005 when Vermeil was still there.
You just noticed him more with Herm because with Herm the offense took a dive off a cliff
Crazy to imagine the Chiefs without Dustin. Like others have said, glad he got a ring. I wish Derrick Johnson would have gotten one as well.
