Welcome to our Pats fans
First let me state I have nothing but respect for the Pats. And what they have done over the years. You will get none of the nonsense that you hear from many football fans from me about your past. Nothing but props the Pats have been nothing but smarter then others and have one of if not the greatest Head coaches in the history of the NFL.
That coach is why I can’t pick the Chiefs to win this game but I won’t pick them to lose either LOL. I see many Chiefs fans on social media acting like this is going to be a cakewalk and I want to smack the hell out of them. And that’s why I am happy to keep 99% of my football talk right here.
This is going to be a good game. I don’t think either team is going to have the week they just have. To me the team that is going to win will be the D that can make the other QB uncomfortable. If we can’t get to Brady he will pick our D apart and the same with if the Pats can’t get to Mahomes. I hope it’s us. But I am going to have to see the Pats go down before I believe it. They have earned that respect from me.

Hey TopekaRoy!
I am a Pats fan (Congrats on a great chiefs season) and trust me, there is way too much talent (Mahomes, Kelce, Hill) to not be a top tier team for more than this year. I believe Mahomes as QB will have the chiefs competing for Championships for a while. Get ready to get used to winning.
I obviously hope the Pats still have enough to make it another year but the chiefs future is bright. I think and hope it will be a great game and regardless, I will be pulling for the winner in the SB!
Good health and fortune to the upcoming victor!
Welcome, CCD!
I’m actually a Bears fan first but since moving to Topeka in 1998 I have also become a very passionate Chiefs fan. I was SO hopeful of a Bears/Chiefs Super Bowl, this year (although I knew it was a long shot), but, sadly, thanks to a horrible kicker, half that dream has been shattered. (We miss you Robbie Gould!) I’m hoping your Pats don’t shatter the other half of that dream.
Fans of Rival teams are always welcome here as long as they are polite and respectful and you and Elvis have been just that.
I don’t mind telling you that I and a lot of other NFL fans have grown a bit weary (and maybe just a little jealous) of the Patriots dynasty. Of course, I’m sure I would feel differently had I grown up a Pats fan. Unlike the Raiders and the Broncos, the Pats are not a rival that we hate. We just hate losing to them!
Sunday’s game should be epic. Let’s hope it’s well officiated and serious injuries can be avoided. May the best team win.
…And may that team be the Chiefs! :yahoo::SmokinBanana:

I’m not making any predictions for this game, either. A lot of things can happen to swing it one way or the other.
But, I do believe that this is a better Chiefs team than when the two teams met in week 6 at NE. The Chiefs will have to be better PREPARED and will have to be more READY this time. They will have to be the more PHYSICAL team in this game, if they want to win. They will have to turn it on & give it all they’ve got & keep mistakes to a minimum.

I just watched Tom’s instagram post, and he has that fire in his eyes. Goosebumps. I would hate that SOB if he played for anyone else, but he’s our’s, so…
I’d suit up and play for that guy right effn now. I believe.
01/14/2019 at 9:50 pm #1070395I will call the Rams over the Saints. Rams are just hotter right now i think it will be a 10 point difference.
The Chiefs i think will win with home field giving them the advantage along with having a healthy sammy watkins and some new and healthy players on defense. I think we win by 4 points with Pats needing a touchdown to tie or take the lead. I think score will be like 31-27
01/14/2019 at 9:52 pm #1070396But yes im nervous this will turn into a shootout. Though if its a shootout that should benefit the chiefs with being home.
01/15/2019 at 1:10 am #1070401Yeah Chiefs have a great chance to make it back to the Super Bowl.
I’m a lifelong New Englander and Pats fan, but have always admired the Chiefs – and of course hated the Raiders. I was totally rooting for you when Montana was there; and there’s been some divisional round heart breakers but beating the Colts got that monkey off your back. I remember when they waited too long to pull Bono and put Gannon in there.
One thing my dad always talked about was, whenever there was a stoppage or time out or altercation, and everybody was just standing around, if Buck Buchanan took off his helmet, a circle of empty field would form around him: opponents, teammates, officials and anyone else would just steer clear and make sure they were at least twenty feet away. Nobody wanted to mess with Buck.
By the way, I totally envy the classy way you (and all the other teams that played Saturday) keep wearing your cool, recognizable logos and jerseys. I wish I could say the same about the Pats. The flying elvis sucks.
Anyway, you guys already beat us last year, and Arrowhead will be rocking again Sunday. Best of luck.

Never have hated Brady Myself. Always liked him more then Manning. And he’s another reason I just can’t say that I think the Chiefs are going to win right now.
That being said it would be great from our end to be the ones to knock him off. But he has earned me having to see him lose before I believe he is done. Hopefully, I see it Sunday
01/15/2019 at 2:19 am #1070404Flying Elvis, CCD, CJS – Welcome to ChiefsCrowd.
First off, nobody I’ve talked to so far around town thinks the Patriots are “washed up”. Not one. It’s been more of an “If you want to be the best, gotta beat the best” attitude.
CJS – You are correct, beating the Colts did help take some of the stench off of the ’95 playoff loss.
01/15/2019 at 6:58 am #1070409I live in Merriam from Mass.
Very impressed with Mahomes and the Chiefs drafts.
01/15/2019 at 7:06 am #1070410810 has the Pats dead and buried.
Keetzman says Brady is retiring after Sunday. Frank Bole Weevil claims the Chiefs will destroy NE. They are aghast how the Pats can claim the no respect card when all season long the media has been digging the NE grave. Gronk is done, Brady looked like hell in Pittsburgh, the Pats lost 5 road games.

None of us Chiefs fans, that are in the know, are buying into any of that. If what 810 was saying was true, it would be the Chargers playing at Arrowhead this Sunday, instead of the Patriots.
Instead, there is a game to be played & the media needs to be tuned out completely. Personally, I expect the Patriots to show only their best on Sunday.

i know
St John aint so bad, but Petrol and Keetzman are jackasses. They get the whole fan base acting 10 feet tall. I have not heard much yet, but its only Monday. I say nothing win, lose or draw and speak when I am spoken to. Issue is that youre not going to get the best of me in regards to chatter. I have a comeback for everything.
i know KC will score but so will NE.

I have seen a number of them elsewhere talking like that. Blows my mind how people can think this. The Pats have shown they are not dead until they are dead.
