PS3 is now $299. Price is no longer an issue. It’s a level playing field now. Well, except for the fact you still have to pay for online play with the box.

FWIW the best system (IMO) for Madden is the Wii you actually make the movement to throw the ball rather then pushing buttons, but my Wii is upstairs with the kids and I have the 360 and PS3.. I went PS3 so I didn’t have to pay for roster updates, and because I have more PS3 controllers then 360 controllers.
THAT was the last good football video game made. They priced it right too $29.
i think what trouble Playstation has is it doesn’t have the frat boy game (Halo, and i hate that game name), i do not know how good Killzone 2 is but heard really good things….if playstation can make a game that gamers just play and play and play and play and play…..then they can compete….they just need their own Halo(and that game sucks)
Main reason i ever own a Playstation is cuz the RPGs were way better.
edit: also God of War just slaughters any game like it that x-box trys to make, god i can’t wait for that game

KZ2 is a gorgeous game with only one major flaw. The aiming system stinks. yet they designed it to be clunky because it was more “real” according to devs. It is hugely popular but only appeals to hard core FPS gamers and not the casual FPS guys out there. It could have been the PS3’s Halo but fell short because of that one major issue.

You never know, it might be enjoyable for you. For me, I just couldn’t get past the horrible aiming mechanics. My son absolutely loved it though. He is tons better than me at FPS too.
Aiming is hard enough on a console, making it tougher was a bad call. JMHO
