I doubt they would have time to clear everybody out after the baseball game. Thoughts, or does anybody know?????:yahoo: :bananen_smilies046: :chiefs: :punk:Royals game is at 2:10? There was another thread discussing this issue, and someone said the Royals game was like at 7:10…maybe they looked at the time wrong, or I did, haha. Do you think it’s going to create a fricken Interstate mess with both teams having games, even with the Royals in the afternoon…and the Chiefs is a MNF which creats even more interest???
I said in the other thread I felt the Chiefs should open gates early, making an exception for MNF significance…since it’s been a while we’ve had MNF, the season opener as well! Allow fans to celebrate making a day out of it if they choose, it’s also been a while since we’ve had much to celebrate about, hahaha. However, someone brought up the valid point that opening gates early encourages drinking too early, etc..

Actually, I ‘think’ there was a time you could buy a pass that allowed parking lot entrance to camp out the weekend of a Sunday game. It was for those with RV’s I think, rather than on foot, lol. Still…I wonder if Arrowhead could be swayed to let some ‘camp’ in tents, or vehicles Sunday night…considering the traffic conflict with a Royals game that afternoon?
Call them Canada and work your magic for a pre-arranged Chiefs Crowd camp out on Sunday night!!!!!!!!!!

:yahoo: :chiefs:I know (from experience last year) that they do not allow you to sleep in the parking lot with at 4am with a bottle of southern comfort!!
At first i did not believe the security guard that found me, but the fine gentlemen of the Kansas City POLice Department were pretty convincing!! :2bang9hj:

Well, that’s only cause you didn’t use your charm and ask permission first, LOL. I tend to think this may be one of those situations where don’t ask (questions) first, just do it…is a bad thing, LMAO!
Are you talking about last December? Was this Saturday night, before the Sunday game…or later after the game and hotel party, lol.

MemberIt was the friday night before the 2nd game. TROUble or no trouble, peacefully falling asleep in the parking lot at Arrowhead was totally worth it!!

Oh, the weekend after the Donkey’s game…I remember now you were staying for 10 days, going to the game the Sunday after. Why were you in the parking lot Friday night…just cause? LOL

My wife did provide a very valid argument to me over the weekend to poo poo my season tickets.Sorry about the Season Tickets, but it’s admirable of you to say your wifes argument was valid. There’s a time and place, and your time for Season Tickets will come. Heck, this season is the first I’ve ever had Season Tickets in all my years as a Chiefs fan…valid reasons prevented it previous seasons.

The oldest start kindergarden this year which frees up our budget a little so I was trying to get my season tickets back. She wants something else first, which does benefit me as well. I haven’t lost the fight completely, but realistically, the want VS need factor was slapped in my face.
I just wanted my tickets back now, before the band wagoners get their hands on them and I am stuck up in nose bleed.

Oh, haha. Well, hopefully it will work out. I’m not sure, but think mine may be close to nosebleed, lol. It’s okay though, cause it’s still a life first for me, and much of the game is about the environment, tailgating, friends, atmosphere, all that jazz, haha.
I don’t think I’ll ever be able to afford LL ST’s. The upper level package was a great buy @ $250, and included the memorial brick in the new circular walkway…which allowed me the opportunity to become a part of Arrowhead permanently. Here’s what I had my memorial brick inscribed with:

MemberThe Chiefs and Royals are looking at a combo package and the gates will be open early simply because there is no way to turn people away before the Royals game. The best scenario would be to go to the Royals game, then tailgate for the Chiefs. Since this Monday night game is the late one, some “rookies” will be passed out in the parking lot in the first quarter. If you party early, it would be great to take a nap in the Royal’s Hyvee seats!
