      After reading all of Vince Flynn. Daniel Silva. and Ben Coes, I am reduced now to Brad Thor. Not nearly as well written as above mentioned 3. Not a lot of good historical spy thrillers out there for right-wing, bible-thumping, war-mongering conservatives like myself. Suggestions?

        Well, not exactly spy thrillers but very entertaining is the author Wilbur Smith. I really liked his “Ballantyne” and “Courtney” novels. I do not remember any book of his that was not a page turner. He has 30+ novels and his stories are set mostly in Africa. Start with “When The Lion Feeds” and you will be hooked!!
