Then don’t come cryin’ when LJ slaps someone in a bar. Fact is he claims he wants to be here and is willing to make a change but he is looking for a chance to go boozing in Vegas. People who are trying to change and become “better people” do no do stuff like that. Fact is he is not allowed to drink in MO because he can’t handle it. What makes you think it will be any dfferent somewhere else?

    hmmm….apparently you do need explanations.

He is a punk!!! Maybe some day he will understand the gift he has, and use it.

Yes, the priceless gift of playing for and representing the Kansas City Chiefs!

    LJ did nothing wrong.

So he wants to have a drink in Vegas.

When was this posted? I havent heard of anyone getting slapped yet.

I guess even LJ can go out and have a drink w/o causing up a stir.

People are just so anxious to slam LJ. Even if it means he wants to have a good time within the perameters of the law.

LJ went to have a drink.. and all is fine.

You are absolutely correct. LJ is “allowed” to have a drink anywhere outside of MO. However, don’t expect people to but into the “changes” LJ is making. This is the exact reason I have no respect for the guy. fHe can feel free to go out boozin’ as much as he likes, just don’t expect peoples opinion about him to change.

Ive made mistakes. you made mistakes.

And im sure there are some things in life you regret and wish you could change.

But reminding someone of the past and keeping account of someones withdraws?

He did nothing wrong, why is this such a big deal?

Yep! 4 days ago. And OMG! No reports of LJ misbehaving.

Heaven forbid LJ have a drink. And of all the people whining about this. You’re the worst. “Mr. get drunk” and “beer is good.”

    WTF?

Who dosen’t. But I still have to pay for some of the things I regret. Wishing I could change does not mean sh!t. Actually changing is what people buy into.

I don’t know what what you are trying to say here.

I never said it was a big deal.

Yup, I like beer. I think beer is great, and when I drink it, I CAN HANDLE IT. I don’t go around bars slapping women.

I guess if u were discussing this with someone who smokes crack then it would be OK for LJ to smoke crack. Good logic!! :bananen_smilies046:
    WTF?

First…I have never voiced my opinion on the subject one way or the other. I just said that if this is the way he chooses to behave then not to expect people to change their opinion of him.

Yes, we have all made mistakes. And we all pay for them. Personally, I could care less if LJ has a drink, snorts coke or shoots up with heroin. But the fact that he got drunk in a bar and slapped some girl in the face is the mistake that LJ made. Now he is paying for it.

Chooses to behave?! by having a drink? Then I pity any dumbass who considers this misbehaving.

Yes we do have to pay for them. LJs been flogged by the fans. Suspended by the NFL and arrested by the law.

My point is dont keep remembering someones mistakes after theyve dealt with the consequences.

He hasn’t dealt with the consequences. Is he allowed to drink in MO or is that the consequence hs is dealing with right now?

…and all I have said is that if he wants people to think he has changed from the guy who was arrested by the law and suspended by the NFL then going out for a drink is not the best idea. Like I said, I could care less what LJ does, as long as he produces on the field. I don’t like the guy (from what I know about him) and that will probably never change. I know it is legal for LJ to drink anywhere outside of MO, but his actions pretty much show that he is making no effort whatsoever to change his attitude.

Oh Canada, if L J was in your town, came over, sat down right next to you at your favorite pub/eatery, noticed your CHIEFS regalia that i’m sure you would be wearing, and offered to buy you a beer, would you not hoist a pint or two w/him???

I know this isn’t for me to answer – but as long Canada has his wifes’ faces covered with some kind of waterproof material, I don’t see a problem…

Yup, but that does not mean I like him. And that is not the issue here. He wants respect from people he just does not want to earn it.
