Your right about that, but my understanding is part of his probabtion is not drinking here in MO. He has a big loop hole that should be filled.

So your saying that you wouldn’t do the same thing if you were prohibited from drinking in MO. ? He can drink in Nevada because it is about 1500 miles away from Mo. I don’t blame him as I would do the same thing if I was in Vegas, infact Vegas is one of 2 places I will drink alcohol, the other would be the Caribbean. I love a well prepared Miami Vice.

Yeah I say get it out of your system in the off season and get down to business at the start of camp. I will never defend what he has done off the field… but he can still help this football team… and with only six happy sundays in the last two seasons we need all the help we can get.

Can’t say I don’t drink. Either way to anyone turning the rumor down, why wouldn’t it be true?

You think ESPN is going to share any news about the Chiefs, unless its something like TG being traded? I am not saying its true, but there is a 90% chance it is. And I know for fact they said he left early from OTA’s.

The only reason I care is because LJ is still a Chief. He should be getting in the shape of his life at this point.

Looks like the old LJ is back.

    Trade him.

I’m not debating wether or not he was or wasn’t drinking or that he left OTA’s early. What matters to me is that he isn’t breaking any laws that I know of and he is participating in OTA’s that are voluntary to the players unless your a rookie or a UDFA. LJ can do like any other Vet player that starts and not show at all until Training camp but, given his situation I fully understand why he does show for them. Remember he don’t have to show up, since it is such a big deal for LJ to be there every time and Brian Waters hasn’t been involved in any of them at all other than showing his support of TG when they sat on the bench together, why not bash on him for not even dressing ? I understand you hate the guy but fair is fair. LJ went in front of his peers and a judge and his sentance was given to him and he is doing as he was instructed so far, if he goes out on the town and he basically loses his mind and beats the hell outta someone then I say crucify his a$$ but until then, why worry about his every move? Kinda makes me think your obsessed with bringing him down and that concerns me for your sake. My thought is after he produces a couple 2 or 3 games and we see what he does in them, things will work themselves out, I even think if he produces 100 + yard games you might cchange your thoughts and be cheering him. ESPN just needed a story in a basically boring part of off season and your one of the people they targeted to get a rise out of.LOL, advice for ya bro, just let it go until he really screws up .

Have you ever been to Vegas on a vacation? If not, let me fill you in on something.
Everyone that is of age goes to Vegas to do certain things,
    —-
    1. Drink Alcohol as you can carry it from Casino to Casino without being thrown in jail unless your so drunk your an issue.
    2. I mentioned casino which means people drink and gamble as they are both legal in Nevada to do in public.
3 . If Single, get laid or get married or BOTH!
    —-
I don’t see anything wrong with what he did but it’s no secret that you and Honda are his worst enemies on this site as you both have made your opinion clear in that.
The old LJ isn’t back , he never changed! You can’t change the spots on a leopard and thinking that because he got his hand slapped by a judge would make him act as if he is under a spell or that he has to stop living is crazy to even think for Gods Sake. He is simply doing what every other person in the world would do if they visit Vegas, Drink, Gamble and have fun, last time I checked that is still legal. Leaving OTA’s are also not against any rules, they are voluntary.

LJ has been on vacation for almost 3 years now. Its time to get it right or get it out.
And I don’t need to be filled in on anything. I work for the railroad and I was in Vegas for 18 months. I know exactly what people do in Vegas. You are missing the point entirely and I prefer not to explain it if you don’t get it by now.

What LJ does on his own time is his business as long as it’s within the confines of the law, and doesn’t affect his job performance.

Like yourself, I don’t need explainations. The man had his day in front of the Judge , training camp hasn’t even started and you expect a man to be 24 – 7? Whatever, LJ is just like anyone else, he works when he is told and he isn’t on the schedule yet , I am not trying to make out like he hasn’t done anything wrong but evidently he didn’t do something bad enough to do Prison time over nor is he on house arrest, he is an American with the Constitution backing his rights as one. You condemn him if you want but I will wait until he does something crminal because IF he is used in the Offensive plans which he was wasn’t during the last 2 years of Herms term, he will be a big asset to the Chiefs .I choose to say Live and let Live .
    You have a great day.

Then don’t come cryin’ when LJ slaps someone in a bar. Fact is he claims he wants to be here and is willing to make a change but he is looking for a chance to go boozing in Vegas. People who are trying to change and become “better people” do no do stuff like that. Fact is he is not allowed to drink in MO because he can’t handle it. What makes you think it will be any dfferent somewhere else?

    hmmm….apparently you do need explanations.

And I understand what you are saying also. I’m just saying appearances are everything. For somebody trying (supposedly) to turn his life and career around, drinking in public doesn’t seem like the thing to do – especially considering the problems he’s had with alcohol in the past. I can see how this kind of attitude and decision making could transfer to the football field. Its just my opinion. As i’ve said, if he wasn’t a Chief I could could care a less what he does. If he was 26 years old and went to the pro bowl last year I could care a less what he does. He’s already skating on thin ice and needs to devote this time to his teammates and to getting himself into the best football condition he is able.
    Not out drinking in bars.
I’m sure few here share my opinion so let the thrashing begin!!!

i hate lj, as a person, and am not much of a supporter, EVER, of the guy…

    But,

if we force him to earn his money, he will play with a chip on his shoulder, for t he first time in years…This helps Cassel and everyone else…

Is he a terrible blocker? Yes, so Charles has to come in on 3rd downs, maybe they run some 2 RB sets to improve passing in the flat, we will see.
