In Kansas and Missouri is it uncommon for people to like both of them? Here in Philly people usually like all the college basketball teams here (Villanova, Drexel, LaSalle, St. Joseph’s, Temple, Penn). There is some rivalry but really only when they play each other. I didn’t realize (if it’s the case) that Tigers fans and Jayhawks fans hope each other loses even when they don’t play each other.
Around here (I live deep in the heart of MU country, about 20 miles from the University) KU is our biggest basketball rival, while Nebraska is our biggest football rival. You do see a fair amount of KU fans around, becuase they or the parents went to KU. For the most part, KU is our sworn enemy! And of course, most MU fans will take any chance to get a jab in at KU. Its all in good fun though.:bananen_smilies046:
