Member::It makes me sick as well. We live approx 15 min from the stadium in Fort Worth. For the most part, every person that I know here, is embarrassed by the doings of Jeri Jones. His ‘over the top’ with everything, money driven ways make me ill.
I get it. We understand that this is a ‘money talks’ organization…(NFL). However, the Super Bowl is NOT for the true die hard fans. It’s for people with money, who could care less about the game, who want to be able to say…”I was at the Super Bowl”. He is only contributing to it with greed.
For example, last spring when I ran a 5K there. FOR CHARITY…he (and yes, I blame Jeri) charged all the runners $25 to park at the staduim. There were thousands there to run and raise money for the ‘American Heros’ race…contributing to children who have lost a parent in the military. I assure you, that he didn’t donate any of that money. (gggrrrr)
I’m just venting now…preaching to the choir…
thanks for listening.01/25/2011 at 5:53 pm #9661044everchiefsfan25
