Member::Much bigger bust than Leaf. At least Leaf bounced around the league a couple years as a backup/reclamation project before he lef tthe NFL. No team in the league will touch Russel with a ten foot pole after the Raiders cut him. He won’t even find a team in Canada.
EDIT: And unlike Couch, Ki-Jana Carter, and others, Russell doesn’t even have injury to blame. It was just a lack of work ethic more than anything else.

Tom Cable says JaMarcus Russell can compete with Jason Campbell for Raiders’ starting job ….. April 26th04/28/2010 at 9:55 pm #933559Ryfo18
Member::Jason Whitlock says it best:
“Allegedly, Romeo and Charlie Weis are ina huge spat over JaMarcus. Romeo think Jamarcus is the run-stuffing DT he needs for 3-4 scheme. A lot of teams have Jamarcus high on free-agent big board. Kiper thinks he’s the next Willie Roaf.”
Now that is pretty funny.
