Usually your backup at least has some good experience not two QBS that we are hoping to teach while he is playing the game if Cassel gets hurt.Completely not the point. I was pointing out that at the end of the season, those players will have tangible results. We will know their direct impact on the Chiefs. No one will ever know the direct impact of Franklin since he will not play a single down here in KC. All we will ever be able to do about that is speculate. Are you and Chief31 really having this much trouble understanding this?

So does this make you a troll for constantly posting when you are asked a question or someone says something about your post? HmmmmNo What makes people think that you are a troll or that your trolling this thread is when you brag about just keeping the thread going. Not really adding anything new just keep posting stuff to keep this thread going. Some would consider that trolling.

MemberDMN;232598 wrote:I have to take the blame for the wet blanket remark… but seriously who can really take offense to that… Ha.There are three problems with it.
One, a newer member may get the impression that name calling is acceptable, if it is not identified.
Two, If a very mild amount of offense is taken, then the result is likely to be a “counter attack”, escalating the animosity, and inviting yet more rule violations.
Three, It is against the rules. I agree that it was not some big deal. But we have rules here.
I did not send a PM to anybody over anything in this thread.
I did not give out any form of Moderation. I simply made it known where the rules are, and asked that we watch our steps, so as to avoid any having to deal with it as a Mod.
And the response has been good.
Everybody stepped back across the line, avoiding all Mod action.
And man is it ever good to avoid that. You should hear how much whining and crying goes on when something actually does get moderated.😆

If you call yourself a fan then cheer… or otherwise what are you doing here? Not everybody has to be the kind of fan that you think they should be.
But, so long as you keep things within the rules, enjoy trying to humiliate your fellow Chiefs fans.
Not sure what is gained from it. But it’s your call.
Just do me a favor and don’t cry mod abuse if I step into the discussion.

Does that not qualify as trolling?
(BTW: I’ll try to get you a response to your previous post ASAP. Tried once, but lost it due to being timed out.)

MemberAll I have to say, is this thread has been entertaining, there is no wrong in spirited debate. But personal attacks on members, will not be allowed. Debate the issue, not the members, who are also fans of the team we all love.

Are you and Chief31 really having this much trouble understanding this? What’s so hard to understand is why you are continuing to argue about it.
You made judgements on this team prior to seeing them play one game.
That is the statment that was made, from which, you have been defending yourself ever since.
I even quoted exactly where you did it. And yet you persist with your defense.
But you seem to be defending something other than rather or not you made any speculations.
Now it just seems like you are out to prove that your judgment is somehow more valid than an other.
But it does not matter. Not in the least.
You stepped in to answer why Matthewchief was insisting that Chiefsrule wait until the team has played to speculate, while ignoring all other members who have made judgements.
All of your arguments, since the time you threw your hat into my discussion with Mattewchief, have been invalid.Canada;232486 wrote:HOLY FU*K!!! CAN YOU READ??Stanzi and Plako are ON The CHIEFS. At seasons end we can discuss how they played, the impact they had on the team, the stats they put up with the CHIEFS. Can we do that with the players that someone wied we had?? NO!! Why is that so hard for you to understand??
OHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
Wait…….
How does this fit into the discussion of rather, or not, it is ok to judge this team before watching them play one game?
I showed you where you have made judgements prior to them playing.
So, if you insist upon arguing over why it is ok to judge this team before they play a game, them you need to be discussing that with Matthew.
He is the only person that I have heard insist that nobody make any judgements until then.
If you would like to continue to pretend that you have not made any judgements, then please refer to my last response, where I quoted you doing so.
Canada;232486 wrote:BTW…when does Chiefsrules get his spanking? Or is this sort of public reprimand reserved specially for me?You started this argument with me.
I was discussing some things with someone else, when you threw your hat into the ring.
Canada;232494 wrote:There were no problems before any mods stepped in. I know you guys can close threads, send out infractions, ban people, change posts. Whatever, the thread did not need clarification. Yet here we are still getting spoken to like we are children.Did anyone here have a problem with anything in this thread? Feel free to speak up. People disagree, adults sometimes say crazy things like wet blanket or troll. Is that really a need for you guys to “clarify” points of view for me? Ad I say me, because no mod is trying to “clarify” my point to anyone else.
You are aware of what a Moderator does, and are claiming an abuse of :sign0106: , so…. could you point us to where the Mod power was used?
Sharing my personal thoughts about a discussion is not a Mod power. It is a member power.

Membermatthewschiefs;232401 wrote:You did the same thing. When I pointed out that were we won the divison was against teams that EVERYONE in the division played you said that I was saying that we had a weak division. That’s not what I said at all. And under that logic Every division in the NFL can be considered weak. Seeing that the teams that win there division win the games the others in that division can’t. So I guess every playoff team gets in due to a weak division. Or does that only apply to the teams who you don’t like how they built there team?AFC EAST: 36-28; 56.3%
NFC SOUTH: 36-28; 56.3%
AFC NORTH: 33-31; 51.6%
NFC NORTH: 33-31; 51.6%
NFC EAST: 32-32; 50.0%AFC WEST: 31-33; 48.4%
AFC SOUTH: 30-34; 46.9%
NFC WEST: 25-39; 39.1%What is most intriguing is that the only two divisions worse than ours were the two that we were fortunate enough to play.
In response to the weak schedule, you cited that the other teams in our division could not beat the easy teams.
I truly thought you meant to suggest that the rest of our divisionj was weak.
I’m not sure, even now, how any other conclusion could have been reached.
“All divisions could be said to….”
Yeah. But only our division got to play all of the worst divisions in the league.
I am not saying that we only because of these things.
I am saying that we were fortunate that those things happened, and that things MAY NOT have worked out so well for us, with different circumstances, as they MAY NOT, with this season’s circumstance.
matthewschiefs;232401 wrote:As luck would have it, the two divisions that finished with a worse record than The AFC West were the two divisions that were on the AFC West’s schedule in 2010.Why go to whiner it’s simple. We presented FACTS about teams who spent more money then the Chiefs that have been bad only to have those ignored and continue to have to hear about how cheap this team is. Threads that are made when they sign a guy all you here from him is we got him because he was cheap. Over and over again.
Did you mean go to “whiner” because it’s simple, or did “it’s simple” refer to the rest of the paragraph?

Yep!! No matter the negative I will find the positive masked by negative. It’s a self preservation tool I’ve retained since I was a kid, haha. Correction though, I wear RED colored glasses, not rose. Red is more complementary to my personality, & skin tones too!

He did, in the European league if memory is correct, but it may have been the Canadian league, can’t remember for sure.
