You do.
Everybody gets to voice their own opinion, or even opt not to.
matthewschiefs;232078 wrote:I am not saying that you are Chiefsrule are wrong about what you have said about this offseason all I am saying is before you talk about how the guys we have not brought in won’t help make this a better team or is “just cheap” like chiefsrule says LET THEM PLAY ONE SNAP.No.
matthewschiefs;232078 wrote:What’s so hard about doing that for your favorite team?Nothing hard about that at all. But I will make my own choices. Thanks anyway.
matthewschiefs;232078 wrote:So now your not allowed to present your case when you disagree with someone? You said you wanted to wait until you saw them play a game before judging….. What opinion?
matthewschiefs;232078 wrote:Expecting a teams fan to give the team a chance to PLAY A GAME before they talk about every guy brought in only being brought in because there cheap is now the way to go?If that’s what some fan wants to do… then yes. That is the way to go.
matthewschiefs;232078 wrote:The FACT is I can’t say that we have upgraded the team any you can’t say they haven’t because THEY HAVE NOT PLAYED ONE SNAP.That is not a fact. I can say that they haven’t, and I can say that they have.
It’s called an opinion, and it is what makes discussion.
matthewschiefs;232078 wrote:All I am saying is before you accuse a owner of hurting the team by being cheap or saying that the way this team has gone about building the team won’t get us anywhere GIVE THIS TEAM A CHANCE. What’s so wrong about that?I have never said anything is wrong with you waiting to see them play before forming an opinion.
Have fun with that. Seriously… Enjoy.
But you do not have any authority to demand that others do it, just because you want them to.
As for making any accusation, I have not.
What I did was point out that moving the team may be a very frugal business decision.
And, recognizing that, I pointed out where, if Clark were considering moving the team, he has been taking the right steps.
It is a possibility that should be considered.
You don’t like it? You don’t want to consider it? Then don’t.
But it is not an accusation. It is what is called an observation.

after all our FA signings we look to be around 10-12 mil under the cap… there are now a lot of teams spending less than us.

And to use a little foresight here comes a post about how we didn’t spend it the right way… boy oh boy we all can’t wait to read.
So please chiefsrule… you wet blanket... enlighten us some more about how our offseason has been crap, and we are gonna lose bigtime, and we are cheap… all whilst not having even seen this team in pads.
Here is a novel idea….
Don’t read his comments if they cause you so much pain.
But stop calling others names just because you don’t like people having an opinion.

Memberchiefsrule;232086 wrote:So how much did Franklin or Gregg sign for? Can you tell me? If Powe might be that good why did 31 other teams not get him sooner? If we sign players to one year contracts who says they will resign with us the next year? We weren’t going to sign Franklin and Gregg but I think we should have went with the younger player who Pro Football Focus ranked the #2 run stopping interior lineman last year.Kelly Gregg 1 year $3.5 million, Franklin (last season was 1 year $7 million) Current financial terms of his new deal are not available. 31 teams did not have the same needs the Chiefs so the drafted differently.
We know that you think we should have gone with the younger player who no one wanted but apparently we did not need a long term NT. We need a guy with experience to teach a younger player who will fill that role. As far as signing again if we need him? Keep winning, it wont be hard to get him resigned.
Do you just rank players we need by how much they cost or have you actually looked at what the specific need of the Chiefs are?

MemberOHHHHH boy, the name calling police have shown up before the season has even started. Can we create a section for people who are 18 and older and won’t get their feelings hurt or be offended (enter at your own risk) over the god forbidden “wet blanket” name calling? I mean I don’t see how anyone could possibly talk that way let alone in a public forum………

So let me get this right, you disagree with my opinion therefore I don’t know anything about football and you know everything, RIGHT? LOL! Guess we will see in the standings how the Chiefs do and see who is right and who is wrong won’t we? Wet blanket? WOW! Haven’t heard that since grade school.

You are right. We all have our opinions. It seems that some think when we give our opinions it is facts and they blow their stack and think we are not behind the Chiefs. Crazy world these days.

I’m pretty confident we would have kept him if he had wanted to stay.Yes I know he retired but why can’t I talk about how much I liked him and what he did for the Chiefs? I didn’t say we got rid of him either. I am confused why you posted that.

Yes we will need a nose tackle next year by only signing some 34 year old player to a one year contract. And it seems that you have already declared Powe our starter next year without even seeing him play an NFL game. You must know everything there is to know about football to be so smart and know this already. We need help on both lines, safety and I would have liked to have had a more experienced QB as our backup, I think we are in big trouble if Cassel ever goes down. So there is what I think our needs our. What do you think our needs our since you talk to Pioli and know what is going on more than anyone else?

Why else would he draft the guy? We have gotten safety help, we have created competition at the backup QB spot. And we are not gambling our long term future on high priced FAs right now. Im not sitting here proclaiming this team to be a Super Bowl ready team right now, but they are competitive again.

You draft players because you have to when you are on the clock either that or you trade away your pick. So you declare a 6th round pick as to not only make the team but to be a starter next year and do well that we will never have to worry about that position for years to come? You know this right? Yes we have competition at every position everyone will compete just to be on the team. Do you feel that if Cassel goes down with an inury we have a backup QB that can step in and and perform well? I like the spin you put on that one though. LOL
