My question is do you think Hemp and/or Marijuana will ever be legalized
I just got done watching a documentary (The Union: The Buisness Behind Getting High) and it really made me look at hemp and Marijuana differently. I use to look at as a horrible drug that could be harmful to you and your body….but after watching that i have a different perspective on it.
Now i smoke it here and there but i don’t smoke it all the time in fear that i might get a job interview and have to get a piss test and then fail.

For me: I don’t use anything that will make me lose control of my physical faculties or mental perceptions, but understand the medical purposes for glaucoma and the like. I, also, understand the “recreational” use argument, and how it may not be anymore dangerous then alcohol intake in moderation. My fear would be that with each use my ability to determine moderation diminishes.
I don’t use and can’t due I get tested for things like that by the Gov due my benefits and meds I get from the VA. I would love for them to legalize it for medical use so I can tell my Dr I want some Indica for my pain as it is better than taking the meds I take now. There are so many different strands of Marajuana that have medical uses it is crazy , most people just think Pot is Pot and you smoke it and get ripped but the truth is and Drs know this the different uses for different strands are crucial to the treatment of their patients needs. They already have vending machines for medical marajuana users to walk up to on the streets of LA to put their scripts into and they pay or give insurance and bang it despences a portion the script said too for the patient. I don’t see why they can’t do that nation wide. Now I can see it causing people to go and try to rip machines off but the truth behind the machine is the product comes from inside a building where a actual person fills and sends the product through to the machine on the street so the machine is nothing by itself. Kinda cool IMO.
I think it should be legalized for a few reasons:
1. I used to smoke for quite a few years, and while smoking never once got in trouble. Compare that to my alchohol drinking, in which ive been in trouble over a dozen times throughout my youth.
2. It could really boost the economy!!!
3. Has anyone ever murdered or raped someone while high? Probably so, but not even close in comparison to the crimes that are committed when people are drunk.
4. I like it, and I would love to be able to do it on occasion again legally, and without fear of losing my job.
Legalize all of it, get it all out in the open and then deal with it like we do alcohol. This “war” on drugs we started in the 80s has done nothing to curtail drug usage.
It is prohibition all over again, let’s legalize it, regulate it, and tax it.

Just goes to show how rediculously far they are willing to go to avert making it legal. The problem that they don’t acknowledge is that is the branches are legal, here is a way to get around growing. It is called cloning, you take a branch off the stock and you put it in root solution, let it grow roots and then plant it and it will most likely start growing the leaves and other stuff. That becomes illegal at the point you plant it but hey, they make it so damn stupid anyway if your gonna get busted for having it might as well get busted for doing something fun.
