the long awaited followup to band of brothers get an air date:

The 10-part miniseries “The Pacific” will debut Sunday, March 14 and will air weekly. The Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg-produced project is likely the most expensive TV movie/miniseries ever made and chronicles Marines fighting in the Pacific Theater during WWII. (Nope, the attack on Pearl Harbor is not shown).

Dam, I have been waiting for this since I heard about it. Now my dad is leaving and we dont have HBO so he wont be getting it.

I don’t get it either but i am considering picking up a box and have them turn it on.
