I agree with Canada on that one. If we had the 13 and 17 picks, we could easily get Earl Thomas and Dan Williams in one round or even McClain/Thomas or McClain/Williams. Any combination of primere defensive players would open the door wide open for taking WR’s and OT’s later on in the draft.
If we can get the 13th and 17th picks for 5, we’d be crazy not to do it. We’d pick Earl Thomas at FS (almost certainly) and (I think) Jason Pierre-Paul at OLB. We could then go Cam Thomas at 2a, and Vladamir Ducasee (RT) at 2b. Four starters right off the bat.

yeah but it said that we would have to give up 2b for that trade… and that definately seems accurate.
No on is giving up the 17th pick in the draft to move 8 spots. Still think it would be good deal. Get Thomas with 13 and Pouncy with 17. Cody if by chance he is there with 2a if not Cam Thomas. We can call it the Thomas Trade.
