After 7 months of baseball and 113 wins, it all comes down to this. One game. Winner take all.
Tonight the Chicago Cubs have a chance to make history–to end the longest streak in all of professional sports–108 years without a championship.
If they succeed, years from now people will be saying “I remember where I was when …” like they talk about when Kennedy was assassinated; or when they watched man first land on the moon; or when the Twin Towers fell.
Or when the USA beat Russia and went on to win the Gold Medal for hockey in the 1980 Olympics.
One game. “Do you believe in miracles?”
Tonight’s the night we make history. Are you ready? I know I am.

Sorry, MatthewsChiefs, but almost everyone in the country outside of Cleveland is rooting for the Cubs.
