Even the most well brought up kids at age seventeen tend to have a mind of their own, and are subject to influences stemming from outside the home from which they may obtain a variety of inappropriate vocabulary. I don’t think it is always necessarily the parents fault. The girls dad may have raised her to the very best of his ability. JMHOI do believe that a child or a teenager is a product of the environment they were raised in and their attitude will reflect that until they are fully mature enough to formulate their own outlook on life. For some that may be 15, for others it may be 50. I am guessing that this girl hasn’t got there yet, so I will put some blame on the father/mother/aunt or whoever raised her….but she gets her fair share of blame for her own actions also.

MemberThis is ridiculous… it reminds me of a woman here in KC that was having a miscarriage and because she spoke in an accent (I have seen the video and you can understand perfectly what she is saying) she lost the baby but was bleeding horribly… the cop (a woman) told her that it was not her problem. I don’t care how somebody tells you they are in trouble and need help, it is not your job to decide who they are or how they are raised, just DO your job! My dad was a paramedic and his best calls were always false alarms. I think she will always second guess what she is saying from now on, but it is not that dispatchers call to disregard her.

MemberRegardless of this kansascitychris is on the money here. With her dad just recovering from brain surgery they had no right to delay it no matter what curse word she dropped. KEEP IN MIND SHE ONLY CURSED BECAUSE SHE WAS UPSET AND COULDNT GET HELP. she is a flustered 17 yr old girl who’s dad could be dying right there in front of here and here people are saying she is wrong. I hope when she and her family are done she owns that cops *** until he dies. When its your life on the line do you want a 6 minute delay?

MemberLet’s just hope this never happens to me. I am not going to take it out on the person that finally does come to help, but that guy that is standing between me and the help I need. That is an entirely different story and I cannot say what I would do.
I can promise you this, if I go to the police station and they try to arrest me while my loved one is lying on the floor, they do not have enough tazers to bring me down.
