Honestly speaking I can see mistakes on both sides but the kid was very afraid for her dad’s life and the cop with the kind of experience he has should have been able to discern that over the phone. He exercised neither sound judgment or discretion.

this cop deserves to be fired period. Who cares if she would of called him a stupid honkey *** cracker its a emergency. To tell someone whos dad could of been dying on that floor no is not acceptable. I would of found him and beat the tar out of him it if were my family member you told me no to. This easily ranks up there with the cop who pulled over the texans rb and held him while his step mom died.

You obviously don’t work in emergency services. I am not condoning what he did. However no one has the right to abuse emergency workers in that way. Emergency or no emergency. I am a paramedic and I show up at emergency situations every day and I do not talk to people that way and if I did, there would be a youtube video about it, then a ChiefsCrowd thread about it and I would be crucified.

she didnt abuse him he first yelled at her because she dropped the F word before he even picked up. He is the reason she went off period no other excuse. He started it.

Like I said, I do not condone what the cop did, but I disagreed with your comment about “I don’t care if she called him a honkey cracker *****”

what i meant by that quote is simple that regardless of what she said he should of never denied her a ambulance because she is not who needs it.

If some foul-mouthed kid was dropping f bombs to me on the phone, she would of got nothing outta me but a dial tone.
Although the cop handled the situation poorly, this girl conveyed a complete lack of respect for authority. At 17, I don’t necessarily place all the blame on her for this behavior. I’d place a lot of the blame on the people who raised her – possibly her Dad – the person she was ironically trying to get help for.

I think that in a state of panic a person can say just about anything.

She didn’t break any laws, and that officer is a public servant.

This is wrong on so many levels, I can’t see how you have any sympathy for that a$$hole.
