You may need to take a break, and not post so many pictures. It is a bit much.Yeah I suppose, I don’t have much to do right now though. Not any homework and it’s too hot to go outside ATM. And as you may remember the TV for the PS3 broke. Although we are getting a Cheap new TV tonight at &;30pm for about $30.

So that translates to ummmmmmm…….
91-95 Degrees Farenhiet.
I’m not sure it got quite that hot though, I was still pretty hot.
BTW I don’t think i spelt Farenheit right.

That’s about right. And for the record you got it right just left out an “h” between the A and R. :bananen_smilies046:

Silly Canadians, they still think they are Europeans, when they live in North America. No, we are just like Americans except better beer, free healthcare, less people, and pretty much legal weed!! :sFl_canada2:

I know what continent I live on, just telling you that the rest of the Americas (North and South) use the metric system. :mooning:

The US also spells many words differently than other countries who use English as their primary language. For instance…most are taught to spell realize with a ‘z’…but the proper European spelling, which was the original way to spell it…is with an ‘s’…realise.
Other examples are: favor vs favour…there are many words like favor of which the American spelling omits the ‘u’.
I’m bored and rambling, hahaha.

I remember the failed metric conversion attempt. Grams, Meters, and all that.
The thing that killed it was construction. So many houses were built on the SAE system that when you try to install metric nominal building materials, nothing fits.
We went through this when I was in the seabees in Sicily. We laid out all our building members on SAE measurements, when it came time to put up the plywood and sheetrock it was all metric sized. We spent so many extra hours and waste cutting the sizes down to fit properly.
The same thing happend in plumbing as well. All the pipes are different sizes.
It will be very hard for the US to completely convert.
