With or without Berry, the real key to the Chiefs defensive success is going to be the play of their Defensive front 7. They must be able to stop the run & rush the passer. If they can’t do that, it won’t matter who the Safeties are.
Yup, had they not started to get to Brady in the second half he would made himself at home in the pocket and picked us apart.

I watched, but my computer went belly up the day before. Sure missed being here to share this win with y’all!

My goodness, what a rookie debut that was unprecedented. I mean after that first carry where Hunt fumbled, he just ripped NE’s guts out the rest of the game and was UNSTOPPABLE.
And after 3 games he remains pretty much unstoppable. RUSHING: 47 attempts for 401 yards (8.53 YPC 133.67 yards per game). RECEIVING: 9 receptions for 137 yards (15.2 yards per catch 45.67 yards per game). 6 total touchdowns. And total yards per game average of 179.33. And that is after just 3 games! And Hill continues to be a star. So far 253 yards receiving. Hunt–if he stays healthy–will be to our 2017 draft what Hill was to our 2016 draft. And the crazy part is we got Hill for a late 5th round pick and Hunt for a late 3rd round pick! We probably have more offensive weapons than we’ve had in a very long time.

I suspected that you might be absent due to computer problems & I’m glad you are back to confirm that.

Yeah…I surely chose the wrong 3 weeks to have a computer meltdown!

Jason…Thanks for the excellent article link! I’m going to offer my thoughts on the whole “kneeling thing” while trying not to stray too far into politics.
#1) This whole kneeling, sitting, not coming out of the lockers room pishes me off no end. I wore our country’s uniform for 7 years.
#2) Though saying this makes me want to puke, I recognize their constitutional right to do it.
#3) I blame the media as much if not more than I do the players. If the media didn’t cover this like it was the most important thing to happen in the last 100 years then this nonsense would dry up and blow away. But instead the media turns it into a firestorm every week. The media are UTTERLY IRRESPONSIBLE!
#4) You shouldn’t get mad at the Chiefs or stop watching them because of this. Instead, you should write all the networks that cover the NFL (and yes, I mean write them a snail mail letter–more impact that way) and inform them that because of their sensationalist coverage of the anti-American protests you will no longer watch their pregame shows or their game coverage and will instead follow games on commercial-free live streams. (Doesn’t matter if that is true). And then remind the dumbships that viewership of the NFL is PLUMMETING since all this nonsense started and will continue to do so as long as they devote so much coverage to the anti-American protests.
#5) In short Jason, your real anger should not be directed at the Chiefs or the players but at the media that are making such a big deal out of this. Always make sure you are directing your anger at the right culprit.
Best…CTC.
