Houston is coming Sunday night and they won’t be easy in Houston. We’ve been whupping up on them for a while and they are going to want some payback in the form of beating the only undefeated team in the NFL. Hope you and Kayla can be here for the game thread. Have you bought her a Chiefs shirt or hat yet? :)

I know CT. I’m really worried about the Houston game. What sucks is the time difference. It’s going on @ (8:30PM EST) 3:30AM for me on Sunday. I’ll be watching it @ Kayla’s place (her dad’s) Might be our 1st loss. Houston has a killer “front seven” Plus our O-Line is pretty banged-up. Not sure if Mitch & the boys will be back for the game.

We have Amazon here. I bought Kayla 2-KC Chiefs T-Shirts. Red is her color (as it’s mine as well) I’ll take some pics & upload them. She laughs @ how hardcore I’m a Chiefs fan I am! I have worn my KC T-Shirts in town & people stop me & say “Hey…Are you an American & an NFL fan?” Trick question I say to myself. Packing-up & hitting the beach again today. Once again it’s 70 & a ball of sun. My tan is working brother. I’m black as asphalt these days. About 10:00AM here.

Joyce (my-ex) is pretty cool. She’s packing-up my snorkel/mask & my fins & sending them to Turkey. The water is crystal clear here. I need my “stuff” Hope to have them next week. It’s cool as Istanbul is right here & the water/beach is located on top of it. Weird as downtown is like a few blocks away & the Sea of Marmara is right here. Girls are so conservative here. It’s mostly one-piece bathing suits (like Kayla) Sigh….

Kayla just called me. She’s taking me to Yalova on the coast for a “Get-A-Way” from Istanbul. Nice! I told her I’m driving her Q5! No way I’m letting her drive. Think of me on Friday afternoon.

I’m off to church with Kayla’s father (Ahmet) Funny her dad’s name is Arabic, yet he’s Catholic. Go figure. Having a Sony 55″ TV being delivered today. Need my set! Using a 17″ laptop screen doesn’t get it done. Prices on TV’s are over the top here. Oh well… A must have.

Outstanding on getting her the shirts and wearing yours! As to Houston…..I also expect them to give us a rough game. But if we can keep the first half close I think we can pull it out. Hunt, Hill, Kelce and Alex have been playing outstanding especially in the 4th quarter. Reid has been sending in some plays I don’t recall seeing before that have taken enemy defenses completely by surprise. And not just gimmick plays like he did with Poe. If he keeps it up I am going to nickname him “Crazy Andy” (from The Hunt for Red October and “Crazy Ivan”) So I’m expecting a nail-biter and hoping for another win.

CT. Houston scares me to death! Just waking-up. Heading for breakfast. If we take the Texans, then I’ll know we’re a real team. I’m so guarded right now. BTW…Yalova is pretty nice. Weather is going to be good (almost 80 & sun) Yet another beach day for me! Be well CT!

IMO Houston is nowhere near as bad as their 2-2 record. And they have a TON of motivation to want to beat us. We’ve made them look bad the last few years and they would like to get even. Plus, they would like to get over 500. Watson is looking better nearly every week. And the game is in Houston, so I expect they will be loaded for bear. And of course our injuries don’t help.

All that said, if we go in there highly motivated, if Reid has another “Crazy Andy” playcalling game plan, if Alex executes it well and if our receivers can do a better job of holding on to the ball than they have been then I think we pull this one out. Lots of “ifs” but I think we can do it.

CT. I know. I have a bad feeling about Houston. Sorry too be a “Buzz-Kill” I just don’t think we have “it” It’s about time we lose (I don’t want too) Yalova was great! Kayla picked-up the tab on everything! Hotel, restaurants etc. Could be worse CT! Had to leave as she needed to make her way back to work. My Turkish is getting better. I try & speak in our conversations in Turk. She still laughs! But…Like her father, she so appreciate it!

Coach. It has been. When I left Boston 6+ months ago I had Germany & France in my sights. Everywhere else was a “toss-up” Turkey wasn’t even in my game plan. I just did it (glad I did) People from Germany (Stuttgart/Southern Germany near France) told me Istanbul is a very cool city & I should check it out. I was thinking of going home before Turkey, but the only “East” country I visited was Israel & it’s kind of like America. BTW…The women are crazy there! Super aggressive, but they love Americans! Really nice beaches. Haifa, Israel rocks!

I dig their culture. It’s very “laid-back” Your blood pressure definitely drops. The Turkish really like us. Almost 8:00PM here. Picking-up Kayla. I think once my Turkish get’s better I’ll pick-up a job here. Kayla want’s to stay in Turkey as she said she couldn’t be away from her family. I’ll be the CEO of the East KC Chiefs club! It would be an honor!

No worries man! I know how those “bad feelings” can be! Had them before that game a few years ago when the Raiders were winless and we lost to them anyway. So yeah…I know about having “bad feelings” about a game.

My compliments on being able to pick up some “Turk-Speak”. When I was younger I could pick up languages fairly easily. Spoke Afrikaans, French, Dutch, some German and a bit of Portuguese. But over the years I’ve lost them all except English and some of my French. And now I can’t pick up languages like I used to. Sucks getting old.

If Coach agrees, I suggest KCMASS be named Official ChiefsCrowd Ambassador to Turkey and be required to add that to his signature line. His job should be to convert as many Turks as he can to being Chiefs fans and to get them to post on ChiefsCrowd. No problem if they can’t type in English so well. Google translator can do a good enough job to get their message across.

CT. You so understand me. I’ve always been good with languages as well, but Turkish is so different & hard to understand. Being older is tough to learn anything new. There’s no correlation with English! It’s like Yiddish. It’s Middle-Eastern & so far away from our own. Dude…Dutch & Afrikaans? Very impressive! One tongue I’ll never lose is French. I simply have “it down” You’re correct…If you don’t use it, then you lose a little. Kayla said too me last night that I’m getting better. Not bad as I started like 5 weeks ago. I should be up & running in a few months.

Yeah brother…I just don’t have a good feeling about the game. It’s like the Broncos…I just put an “L” in our column. Why do we have such a problem with the Donks? Maybe Andy & company can pull it off. I hope so. I’m going to take a big “nap” before the game as it’s on so late.

Ahh Dude…You crack me up! Her KC shirts are super tight (Size. Small) She’s little & a bit “busty” I have to get “approval” from her as she doesn’t like me posting pics of her on the net. She’s has read this thread & likes that you guys dig her, but is so conservative! That’s how Middle-East girls are!
