Member::Trivia question #21:
This former professional football running back played 4 seasons for the KC Chiefs and 4 seasons for the San Diego Chargers. He has several notable accomplishments to his credit as a running back in the NCAA, AFL/NFL. After retiring from pro-football he earned his Juris Doctor in Law School, then worked for a major city district attorney’s office before once again re-entering a professional career in athletics.
What is the name of the running back I’m referring to, AND what jesery number did he wear as KC Chief, AND which 4 yrs. of his professional football career did he spend with the Chiefs?

No answers? Hmmm…does this mean I stumped y’all just a bit? hahaha
I gave one clue mentioning ‘AFL’, just in case ya missed that, haha. Here’s another clue: this running back also received the highest honor possible during his NCAA playing yrs..

You all forgot about the “preseason” game on Aug. 23 1967 the following season after losing to Green Bay in the first Super Bowl! It was a game and we did win. The first year of afl/nfl interleague play. Kansas City Chiefs- 66
Chicago Bears–24 (sorry Roy) Sports Illustrated Article on AFL-NFL Preseason Interleague Play, 1967that’s gotta be worth 1/2 a point:D

Very good, but preseason games don’t “count,” so neither does your answer!
By the same token, I should get 3/5 of a point on the “Chiefs who set franchise records” question, because I was the first to post 3 of the 5 correct answers! :beer::toast2:

In all fairness, I’m gonna turn this one over to our moderators over seeing the contest, let them decide, because I honestly am not sure how to decide which answer given should be considered correct.

This legendary recording artist became a Chiefs season ticket holder and loyal Chiefs fan due to becoming a fan of Derrick Thomas during his NCAA years, and wanting to follow DT’s NFL career as well. Please give the artists name, AND notation of how this artist first met & became a fan of Derrick Thomas during his college football days.
