They aren’t active, yet, but here are two good sources to try:
I’m really disappointed that (most of) the Bears starters won’t be playing, today. I understand it. They had an extra week of practice and this is their 4th preseason game because of the Hall of Fame game. They also had an extra 3 days of mini camp because Nagy is a new head coach. But there are a lot of new pieces on the offense and they need to play together in a (simulated) real-game environment. I was expecting the Chiefs to win, anyway, but it would have been a lot harder for me to watch starter-against-starter. Chiefs should roll against 2nd stringers.

I don’t think the risk of injury is a good reason to avoid contact in pre-season. There is always that risk, but how do you get better if you don’t practice? The intensity level is much lower in pre-season games so the risk of injury is lower, but if you don’t play now, the risk of injury increases in the first regular season game because your conditioning is lower.
