I understand what you’re saying, except that perceived incompetent thinking is not the standard by which a member should be “weeded out”; it is whether or not they can abide by board rules. If someone is posting out of ignorance and refuses to see that about themselves then that trait will bare itself out to all intelligent thinking adults and then can be ignored so that intelligent conversation can take place. When forum bickering breaks out it does nothing but take way from the topic being discussed and detract from the site as a whole.
I am saddened by what has transpired and take no personal satisfaction with the measures taken, but we are all subject to the same rules. Anyway, it is my hope that Canada sees his way clear to continue to be a productive member of the site.
This is my final comment on the subject.

Even though you may think it is a good idea, the bad part of that plan is that after awhile it attracts the people that want to do nothing but fight with others in that forum. I have seen boards with them myself and I even owned one that had something simaliar but they both attracted the people who would only come to the site for that one thing. The next thing ya know you have 500 people that don’t show up for Chiefs chat they show up to call people names and curse , argue and be right down rude for any reason and I believe that is the type of people Coach is trying to avoid joining. I would like to see Canada come back but I don’t think having a forum made up just for being rude and argumentive is the answer that is needed to fix this matter. Maybe the fix is having the maturity to accept that being here longer than others does not make anyone any better than the newer members.

Me personally i didnt know canada to well because im new. But in my time here ive grown to like him the best out of anyone. I myself have debated leaving to find a diff board to simply because the mods are on a power trip and play favorites. Coach is the only fair one ive seen who doesnt drop subtle pet hints. At anyrate hope canada comes back he like me had a pair and said it like it is.
I know first hand about the “Fight Club” and to be honest it wouldn’t fly here, for one you have swear filters here, you preach being nice and respect for fellow members, race can’t be brought up, so how could you handle a Fight Club?
Someone said that people would come only to fight or throw in their 2 cents, if you have a good site having a fight club will not take all the members away from the other forums it will only keep the fights and personal attacks to one area and away from the football and serious topics but you have to have a staff that is tough enough to take action and quickly and you have to have a site that isn’t hung up on swear words and being PG..not knocking this board just saying in general.
