I heard we will host a Super Bowl after the upgrade were to happen but they said it required a roof. Wonder if that will happen now?08/05/2009 at 7:23 am #893534stricken721
MemberI don’t know if I would like to see a glass roof over Arrowhead. Also something like that would probably cost twice as much as what the current repairs cost.

So no hosting of a Super Bowl. The pansies in fair weather and dome teams can’t play with real football teams in all kinds of weather.

It is suppose to be a Winter Game so why does the stadium need to be heated? To me that makes it more interesting, would be super cool to watch a Super bowl in a snow storm.

MemberI agree. Stricken, and Missouri would never get the votes to pay for something like that.

I bet it would pass then! I would vote yes… not for the glass roof though.

Stanford Stadium (Stanford, CA) 53°That was the coldest temperature recorded at the start of the Super Bowl when it was an outside stadium.

They just made it a need to have a enclosable stadium for the SB to be hosted so since KC don’t have it there is no SB which sucks.

I am talking below 32 degrees, that was in the 1970s when the Steelers vs Cowboys had an outside Cold weather game. It was suppose to be in the Superdome but it wasn’t ready. They play it on the NFL Network every now and again.
