I didn’t watch 60 minutes all that much, but when I did, Andy Rooney was usually the best part of the show. He’s fortunate. He lived a long life and kept doing what he loved right up to the very end. Andy Rooney was to TV what Paul Harvey was to radio.

        I miss him already.

              he’ll be missed.

he was pretty much a liberal way back when. started his career during WW2 which he didn’t think was necessary until he saw the concentration camps. a new Rooney emerged

As a young writer and Journalism student, Andy Rooney was brilliant. May he Rest in Peace.

No he passed away on Feb 28, 2009. he was pretty much retired for a few years before that though and his son would do most of his newscasts and “The Rest of the Story.”

And NOW you know … the REST of the story.

                Paul Harvey … good day!
