Now this is funny!!:lol: I’m guessing and expletive laiden tirade is on the horizon……..I mean he is the only real fan on the site. How can anyone question his knowledge and forsite about where this team is headed?

Don’t you have to be a “real” fan to be interviewed? I mean I wouldn’t want the integrity of the “real fans” to be scewed by a diatribe from a lowly “troll”. 😆

I’ve seen much worse. I see chief31’s interview as more of a ‘roasting’ in jest. At Kid Rock’s former fan club our moderator was an employee on Kid Rock’s management payroll. Still, there were few website rules…fan club management adopted Kid Rock’s stand against censorship. Well, there’s a big difference between censorship & moderation preventing hateful personalities from abusing others verbally.

I never had any negative comments directed at me personally, but I always treated every one with respect, didn’t draw negativity, as many others did. On Fridays the moderator had ‘Ratings Day’…fan club posters were rated based upon participation. Ratings were on a scale from 1-10…1 being bad, 10 best. Each rating gave a detail from the moderator as to why one received the rating they did. Many were mean & ugly, some good & bad, some meant funny like roasting.

There were too many regular posting members to rate each one every Friday, hundreds, so ratings were given randomly by the moderator. I was intimidated & terrified by Ratings Day, hoping each Friday I wouldn’t be a random member rated. In the history of that fan club websites 3 years, 2003-2006, only two 10’s were given, many were below 5, most between 5-10. The new fan club opened in late 2007…with stricter moderation overseen by Atlantic Records. Ratings no longer existed.

At the original fan club website I escaped 1 1/2 years without being rated, then one Friday it happened. A friend emailed to warn me before I logged in at the website, that I had been rated. She wouldn’t tell me the rating. I assumed it was bad & waited a couple days before logging in, hoping to prepare myself for the worst. Below is my rating…it made me cry, I still tear up reading years later. I printed & saved the original website page as a memento.

Connie, Where do I begin to tell you. There is nothing your heart lacks. You bring smiles to all faces, you’re like an Angel watching our backs. What you do is sometimes not noticed by all, and your efforts sometimes understated, but to me you are very special and much appreciated. I think this will be my last rating, and this is not just for fun, because you’re an inspiration to me, and you should be to everyone. God bless your heart Connie, over and over again. You’re classy, compassionate, and caring, you’re the perfect 10.
