You know, the teams that have to spend about 15 times as much as the Cardinals franchise.
Cardinals are next to Yankees in spending,And Pujols is extremely ****y

MemberPujols may have taken steriods, anything is possible, but there is a difference about him. Pujols was large when he came in the league.
This is a lot different than say Barry Bonds and McGuire who both bulked up huge later in years. All of us who are over 28 know how hard it is to bulk up and get into shape, yet those guys were able to do it.
Pujols has always been a big guy. HIs numbers have always been good, and he has an impecable integrity. Amidst a league full of buttheads like A Rod, and Ramirez, Pujols is a shining star, and players like A-Rod and Manny have to take steroids to make up for their lack of integrity and hard work.
Enough about baseball.

First thing I have agreed with you on in days, although I still like Big Mac (McGuire).

Been a Braves fan since i was my sons age (three), my Grandma used to watch them constantly on TBS and i just fell in love with them. Its too bad TBS doesnt air all braves games anymore, their really losing a lot of new fans that could have been.

I know it sucks….i’ve been a braves fan since i was born. My dad was a fan through the hard times and stuck with it. I’ll always remember 1992…Sid Breams running around the bases, coming home, barry bonds throws to home, sid slides and hes………..SAFE! BRAVES WIN BRAVES WIN *tear*…….crying i wasnt crying just had something in my eye.
I miss the games on TBS…if nothing was on i could just turn to TBS and watch my braves play some baseball. There is still 23 games left and the braves could make a run but probably won’t happen. I’m just glad we finished above .500 and maybe we can take 2nd in our division.

I hear that comment about McGuire all the time. But he was an over-sized monster the day he entered MLB. And did nothing but fill-out gradually, over the next couple years.
Besides, it is perfectly normal for a man’s body to ‘fill-out’ as he ages from 20-35. Have a look at Cassius Clay/ Muhamed Ali. Or almost any pro athlete.
Michael Jordan? Have a look at his early frame, and compare to his later years. Even as a 6′ 6″ basketball player, the ‘filling-out’ is evident.
The real physical tell to McGuire’s steroid usage was the skin.
He didn’t baloon like Bonds. (Who filled-out from skinny speedster, to McGuire-like monster, overnight and late in his career.)Because he was already on the ‘roids as a rookie. Lol.
Now Bonds… the size of his head was his obvious tell. 😆

MemberPujols is not on steroids… the dude is basically asking to be tested whenever the MLB feels like testing him if they think he’s juicing. I think Pujols is genuinely the best hitter the game has seen in decades and has been incredible from day 1. Look at the stats, there were no gigantic jumps at any point in his career.
