Moats handled things very well, especially considering the situation. What’s really telling is that a police officer who was stationed there came out to verify the story and Officer Powell didn’t relent. A nurse came out and verified that the mother-in-law was dying and had seconds left. He continued dragging his feet and took his time writing the guy a ticket ( a worthless one that was dismissed) while the young man’s mother-in-law died. Officer Powell’s behavior was disgusting he should be fired. Officers are here to protect and serve. They should be the best of us. Not unsympathetic, power tripping buttwipes.
