You know, bumping year old threads is a great way to let people know that you’re a troll.
You ARE a troll right?

If no rumors ever got reported what would people in sports talk about? just box scores and stats? I guess in that case no one should ever talk about possible free agent or draft rumors becuase there aren’t facts to back them up they are just rumors? Also jack reported that he did not seek the guy out on the message boards. 2 people that knew the gentlemen emailed jack he then sought out the guy who said he was flipped off. again I’m not saying it’s true but you can’t just rip a guy for reporting something that was told to him as long as he’s not saying it’s a fact which he didn’t. He simply just reported the story.Quoted for the ultimate truth.

He’s turning 30 next month and by the time that O line gets it’s act together and we start posting winning seasons he’ll be 32 or 33 depending on how quick that happens. He did well today. But, 83 yards against a suspect defense isn’t anything to celebrate. Still no TD’s either. I would have much rather dumped him and kept Gonzalez. My guess is the Chiefs will keep him until it is no longer profitable to do so based on his ridiculous contract. Hopefully LJ does decent down the stretch and we can finally trade him. I’d like to see the other young guys playing more. We have nothing to lose by playing them. I don’t think we can gauge a RB by playing him a few times in a game here and there. Let’s start some of these dudes and see what they can do.Suspect? The defense is the only thing that I can say is actually good for the Skins.

And FYI i dont follow the chiefs, but if im gonna state something i look up facts. Darren McFadden sure had fun against your D.. 176 yards in 3 quarters. Stupid pick? Oh I guess.. lol
You seem to forget, those picks were with Queen Carl at the helm. Now he’s off in Miami somewhere. Oh and please tell me something new. Everyone could run on us last year, but you think your Raiders are studs because one of the many RBs we faced ripped through our “red carpet” defense?
I guess I should mention that as much as Queen Carl screwed things up around here, we’ve STILL been to a couple of playoff games since your Superbowl run. You still have yet to get rid of the plague of your organization, and until he croaks, you’re gonna be in for some long seasons.

Also on another note someone said FF was free. FF takes up way to much of peoples time to do better things for themselves. My friend and his wife had alot of problems with him always spending way to much time on it. My friend found a support group for FF addicts ( Wow FF already has support groups) and that just blew my mind. I use to have a problem with video games, I played them from 85′ to 06′ and it did nothing to help me in life and my walk with Christ. I think there is a price to pay to play such a game and for what to feel pride when other people do good and you win a season that brings no meaningful value to you or your family. All this is IMOYou just have to look at FF and video games as a hobby. If you don’t let it consume you, then you can easily balance it with other things.
KansasCityChris;140365 wrote:Good for them. I don’t care much for it, if people were meant to be a GM of a team they would be a GM of a real team in the NFL not in some dudes living room. Fantasy football is for wanna be GMs , that is my opinion though, you and anyone else can believe what they wish. My point is that Mark Bradley making a person fantasy points doesn’t help the Chiefs at all, they need guys that can play every game and he obviously didn’t last year as his numbers show it.Well, you know, you need to have a pretty solid college degree and a heck of a lot of connections to be a GM. You can’t just know about football!
Not to interrupt this incredible argument, but there’s one thing I’d like to add that hasn’t been said about the Chiefs.
It’s true that they did pick up some old guys that are only here until the rest of the team acquires the talent to replace them, but one big thing that they WILL provide is leadership. That is absolutely huge for the young guys already on the team.
And no, we had none of it WHATSOEVER last year. TG was phenomenal, but he wasn’t the leadership type, neither was Waters.

I personally think it will be a good game on both accounts in KC and the Sack hole LOL. We should be able to sweep your beloved IMO.You should change that to Bradley. Bowe isn’t a burner!
Hey man, nice to see some classy Raiders fans!
We’ve made some pretty solid acquisitions, but I’m trying not to get too hyped up about it, at least until preseason starts. Most of us are looking at 6-8 wins, depending on a lot of things.
KansasCityChris;138703 wrote:JM always Jacks on the Chiefs. I don’t understand why but I haven’t read one post from him that gives any positive optimism. That is just my opinion though, but since I am voicing my opinion about his, I will just say that I would be stunned if he were to be positive about them , as for the Bolts, they haven’t done anything to warrant them getting a better record, especially if they are playing the same kind of schedule the Chiefs are. What would you consider positive? He’s said that we’ll be near .500 next season.
jmlamerson;138589 wrote:Man, you need to pay more attention. I’ve posted many, many times, that I think the Chiefs will improve by five games this year (to 7-9, maybe 8-8 if we get a few breaks). That doesn’t equate to a winning season, unfortunately, but it’s pretty great, given the mess Herm left of the team. And yeah, SD should improve this year. Tomlinson and Sproles are going to share the RB load, Rivers and his receivers are improving every year, and the Chargers loaded up on LBs in the draft in case Merriman isn’t up to the challenge. They have a pretty easy schedule as well.
For that matter, I think Oakland will be better than they were in 2008 as well, improving a couple wins to 6-10.
It’s Denver that’s going to take the big plunge, down to 1-15, 2-14.
It’s true that the Chargers covered their weaknesses pretty well through the last draft, and I know you already covered the Norv Turner factor, but I just can’t see it with him.
The guy is constantly given great talent and just turns it into mediocrity. He scuffles into the playoffs and his team finally starts playing like they should, but the guy just isn’t much of a regular season coach.
The point being, every year, people predict this team to be 12-4 or whatever, and they fall short. In 07, they had the talent to be 13-3 at least, and were 11-5. In 08, they should’ve been 11-5, but they were 8-8. Yes, they had injuries, but they lost a lot of games in the last second, that reflects on the coach.
Now, am I saying they won’t win the division? Absolutely not, I’m looking at them at around 9-7, I just can’t see them at anything better than 11-5, because that’s the best they’ve been with Norv with some of the best talent.
Yeah, I have no problem with other team’s fans here as long as they’re respectful.
But if they’re trolls, then they better stay away from me! Trolling trolls is pretty fun.
Wow, this is one of the nicer Raider fans I’ve seen post and everyone’s wanting to throw him out on his butt.
Sorry about the welcoming committee, Jinx, and welcome! However, I must respectfully disagree about being swept, I think it’ll probably be a split like the last couple of years.
jmlamerson;138174 wrote:You’re underestimating San Diego, who I think will go (at least) 12-4. They are a very, very good team in their prime. Norv Turner isn’t exactly Bill Walsh, but he’s not as bad as his reputation suggests, and he’s taken the Chargers a whole lot farther than Matry ever did. And Oakland is a better team than they were in 2008 (of course, so are we), and we split with them in 2008.On the whole, our division isn’t as bad as everyone thinks it is. I think the AFC West ends up with a better record than the NFC West (abysmal), AFC North (Baltimore is due for a slump season), AFC East (I think only the Pats have a winning record in 2009), and maybe the NFC South (Atlanta is the only team I don’t think we beat on a neutral field).
All in all, I agree with you that we’re going to be better than a lot of people think, and, heck, I admire your enthusiasm. But talks of sweeping the division and the playoffs are just slightly premature.
Yeah, the Chargers are who I worry about, especially with Merriman coming back. If he’s the old Merriman, then we have no chance in San Diego, and even here, it’ll be tough.
Oakland is kind of weird for us, both games are usually duds, but we usually find a way to win one of them. I really don’t think Oakland has improved all that much, so I’ll go with sweeping them, but I wouldn’t be shocked if they stole one from us.
Big Daddy Tek;138171 wrote:I think JM is pretty close. I also have us 4-2 in the division. Although my second loss is not to Oakland, but Denver. Oakland has not been a problem for 5 years and I dont expect them to be now. The Denver game at Mile High is always the scariest game of the season. We lose there every year, Just like they lose here. If Pioli makes us 8-8, he’ll probably get his own street. And this post and JML’s is exactly what I mean. I think we’ll go 4-2 as well, but it’s definitely possible to sweep if everything goes perfectly. The division is just pathetic.
