A same w-l record with the Chargers will give the Chargers the AFC West title due to AFC w-l which is the next tie breaker.

It wouldn’t be the same. We’d be 10-5-1 with a tie. You would be 10-6. That puts us a half game up.

    Excuse me…14-0

I hope I’m not although this is the only game I’m not 100 percent certain what I chose. I can’t remember from the beginning of the year….blargh. Ill stick with what I think I chose. We lose…. :( HOPE I’m wrong and if I’m wrong I may have been right anyway and if I’m right I may have been wrong…:drunkhb: SOOO maybe we TIE :D

A tie would still give us a half game lead over SD if we win against the Raiders…..

    I’ll take it!

Clearly, Cassel was horrible. 469 yards passing, 4 TDs, zero INTs, is the main reason we lost in Denver today.

    Wait a second….

…if his current numbers were averaged out over 16 games, he would have 3,344 yards, 59.2 Comp. %, 32 TDs and 8 INTs.

Yeah. Thigpen put points up. He threw for 18 TDs and 12 INTs for us in ’08. (11 starts)

I like Thigpen. I root for him when I see him.

But Cassel is doing much better than Thigpen did.

The defense was the problem today.

    Cassel was very good.

The problem is how much of that was from when the Broncos were up by 35? There were times where I saw the Broncos pass rush not even attempt to take on blocks! Not to mention the soft coverage Bailey had on Bowe.

Looked like a game’s worth of garbage stats to me.

Sorry buddy, there’s only one team winning this division, and that’s the Chargers. Go take your trolling back to raiderfan.

This is what I’m talking about everyone else had valid points so far this page you on the other hand start off by talk crap. But since it has been 4 years for Bowe and 3 years for Dorsey and Alberts I would say by now they should be showing signs of greatness.

Really? All I did was offer some advice, since you seem really wrapped up in the success or failure of this team, and you still ignored Flowers.

I have been a chiefs fan for along time I have seen the ups and downs of this team I have represented this team for as long as I have lived in Kansas. I think that being a Chiefs fan gives us all the opportunity to express our point of views with one another. On this site after posting 1 forum and the response I had was good but there are some ignorant people on this site. For example one of the responses I got from some one was “your stupid” WTF does that have to do with the Chiefs if you think the Chiefs are a good team then your blind if you think the draft that we had this year was good your blind if you think that the draft we have had in the past 4 years was good you blind. The only players that we have drafted in the past 4 years that have made a difference is 2007 Dwayne Bowe 1 out of 7, 2008 Jamaal Charles 1 out of 12, 2009 Ryan Succop 1 out of 9, and 2010 TBA. So what does that mean?

That means we have a 10.71% rate in the draft up until now so please go on this forum and tell me we have done good in our drafts. All three of these guys that I mentioned are not even Pro Bowl Material except Charles.

Its like this if it taste like piss and it smells like piss then guess what its PISS. If you dont have a good arguement and you are just writing to be writing do us all a favor and go some where else.

You’re the type of person that should probably not comment about the teams you follow. You want instant results, and if you don’t get it, you throw a fit. I like how you don’t include Brandon Flowers, seeing as how he’s easily the best player on defense.

Should have kept Thigpen… he more talent than Cassel.

You know, bumping year old threads is a great way to let people know that you’re a troll.

    You ARE a troll right?

mortenson is the one that broke the shanahan story I know harry reported it but he wasn’t the first. If no rumors ever got reported what would people in sports talk about? just box scores and stats? I guess in that case no one should ever talk about possible free agent or draft rumors becuase there aren’t facts to back them up they are just rumors? Also jack reported that he did not seek the guy out on the message boards. 2 people that knew the gentlemen emailed jack he then sought out the guy who said he was flipped off. again I’m not saying it’s true but you can’t just rip a guy for reporting something that was told to him as long as he’s not saying it’s a fact which he didn’t. He simply just reported the story.

    Quoted for the ultimate truth.

My issue is do we keep him next year. He’s turning 30 next month and by the time that O line gets it’s act together and we start posting winning seasons he’ll be 32 or 33 depending on how quick that happens. He did well today. But, 83 yards against a suspect defense isn’t anything to celebrate. Still no TD’s either. I would have much rather dumped him and kept Gonzalez. My guess is the Chiefs will keep him until it is no longer profitable to do so based on his ridiculous contract. Hopefully LJ does decent down the stretch and we can finally trade him. I’d like to see the other young guys playing more. We have nothing to lose by playing them. I don’t think we can gauge a RB by playing him a few times in a game here and there. Let’s start some of these dudes and see what they can do.

Suspect? The defense is the only thing that I can say is actually good for the Skins.

Wasted picks? Those wasted picks got us to a Super Bowl THIS decade. 2 AFC Championship games.

Your picks have gotten you 1 division title this decade. And FYI i dont follow the chiefs, but if im gonna state something i look up facts. Darren McFadden sure had fun against your D.. 176 yards in 3 quarters. Stupid pick? Oh I guess.. lol

You seem to forget, those picks were with Queen Carl at the helm. Now he’s off in Miami somewhere. Oh and please tell me something new. Everyone could run on us last year, but you think your Raiders are studs because one of the many RBs we faced ripped through our “red carpet” defense?

I guess I should mention that as much as Queen Carl screwed things up around here, we’ve STILL been to a couple of playoff games since your Superbowl run. You still have yet to get rid of the plague of your organization, and until he croaks, you’re gonna be in for some long seasons.

Who really cares about this issue anyway. I can’t believe I just sat here and wasted my time reading this post. Now I have wasted more by putting my thoughts out there. Also on another note someone said FF was free. FF takes up way to much of peoples time to do better things for themselves. My friend and his wife had alot of problems with him always spending way to much time on it. My friend found a support group for FF addicts ( Wow FF already has support groups) and that just blew my mind. I use to have a problem with video games, I played them from 85′ to 06′ and it did nothing to help me in life and my walk with Christ. I think there is a price to pay to play such a game and for what to feel pride when other people do good and you win a season that brings no meaningful value to you or your family. All this is IMO

You just have to look at FF and video games as a hobby. If you don’t let it consume you, then you can easily balance it with other things.

Good for them. I don’t care much for it, if people were meant to be a GM of a team they would be a GM of a real team in the NFL not in some dudes living room. Fantasy football is for wanna be GMs , that is my opinion though, you and anyone else can believe what they wish. My point is that Mark Bradley making a person fantasy points doesn’t help the Chiefs at all, they need guys that can play every game and he obviously didn’t last year as his numbers show it.

Well, you know, you need to have a pretty solid college degree and a heck of a lot of connections to be a GM. You can’t just know about football!

Not to interrupt this incredible argument, but there’s one thing I’d like to add that hasn’t been said about the Chiefs.

It’s true that they did pick up some old guys that are only here until the rest of the team acquires the talent to replace them, but one big thing that they WILL provide is leadership. That is absolutely huge for the young guys already on the team.

And no, we had none of it WHATSOEVER last year. TG was phenomenal, but he wasn’t the leadership type, neither was Waters.

I think LJ is gonna leave his cleats in a few Faiders Dboys and when the time is right, BANG deep to DBowe for the TD. I personally think it will be a good game on both accounts in KC and the Sack hole LOL. We should be able to sweep your beloved IMO.

You should change that to Bradley. Bowe isn’t a burner!

Hey man, nice to see some classy Raiders fans!

We’ve made some pretty solid acquisitions, but I’m trying not to get too hyped up about it, at least until preseason starts. Most of us are looking at 6-8 wins, depending on a lot of things.
