McCain’s chances are better than our chances of winning a Super Bowl, but the results look bleak for sure.

The thing to remember is that most of the time these polls tend to favor the democrat before the election, but on election day things are a different story. It happened in 2000 and 2004.

Polls are hard to understand, and it does not take into account that people do lie. Why? I have no idea, but in 2004 there was a study on why the exit polling was so wrong. The number one reason they cited was that they were lied to.

I think a better explanation is that there is no way to completely get a sampling of 30 million voters by calling 5000

I might sound a little kooky here, but history has a way of repeating itself. The last time we saw this much of a collapse in the stock market was during the great depression.

I think we should all be preparing ourselves now for soup kitchen lines, because this is likely to be bad no matter who is elected.

    You got it right Vern!

I do have a solution to the problem though… If we concentrate on our state government and make it strong… we could hold this country up (if every state did the same)…. seriously make a united effort within each state to be able to survive the next crunch – be it health care, education, housing, the list goes on – this will create and secure jobs. My prediction is that LJ will be gone next season. The Chiefs will be more than happy to let him pile up yards to improve their trade chances. They would have jettisoned him this year, but the injury scared away any team interested in him. They drafted Jamal Charles for a reason. They already had a proven backup in Smith. LJ is going to be 29, and in the grand rebuilding scheme of playoff readiness on 2-3 seasons, it puts him at 31 or 32 if things go right. The Chiefs want to prove he’s 100% and able to rack up the yards and trade him to free up more cap space. He has a terrible attitude and players have privately said the guy is a cancer in the locker room.

I disagree…. I know some of you don’t take me serious because I am female – but I think that LJ has been wanting this – I think we seen that in week 2 – 2nd half! Ever since then things have started clicking. He is pissed and has right to be when we are sporting 0-3! This is his damn job! So what if his personality is different from the typical…. maybe a little fire under every players a$$ is what we need! I dont see how running a guy outta town – that is showing us his passion – maybe the only way he knows how – is going to help the cause! IMHO:11:

I love LJ, Derrick, our Defense, Herm, etc….. I think they are all great!!!! GO CHIEFS!!!!:yahoo:

I am concentrating on my local elections – I don’t think enough people vote for their local candidates – if we truly want change…. it needs to start in our own backyards!

Good convention…. all the ads they are showing against Mc Cain merely represent what the senate majority was the cause of.

    WHY I AM VOTING DEMOCRAT

I’m voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

I’m voting Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

I’m voting Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq I trust that the bad guys will stop what they’re doing because they now think we’re good people.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that people who can’t tell us if it will rain on Friday CAN tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don’t start driving a Prius.

I’m voting Democrat because I’m not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as THEY see fit.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe three or four pointy headed elitist liberals need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would NEVER get their agendas past the voters.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that when the terrorists don’t have to hide from us over there, when they come over here I don’t want to have any guns in the house to fight them off with.

I’m voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I’ve decided to marry my horse.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe oil companies’ profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn’t.

Makes you wonder why anyone would ever vote Republican, now doesn’t it?

I was only voting for McCain because I don’t want Obama to win at all. Now I actually want to vote for McCain-Palin because I like where the ticket may be going.

I have many reasons to not vote obama…. but I am not sure I liked the choice for him to pick palin…… I like what I have read so far and I am not speaking against her…. I just don’t know enough about her. I cannot help but think the decision was based upon her being a woman. I do not agree with affirmative action, and that is what this reminds me of – but if I research and she really is the best option, then so be it

    in reply to: #846476

    Guess what!
I was at the Hyatt last night and on our way there…. the obama motorcade went right in front of us and ended up at the hyatt crowncenter…. My bad driver boss almost pulled out in front of the motorcycle cops that were leading the motorcade….
Didn’t see him though, but that is perfectly okay…. didn’t really care to 😆

Ding ding, we have a winner. We know our team is probably gonna stink unless we pull off a surprise season, we don’t need a homer fan from another loser team to tell us that.

Plus, your insults suck, you should work on that. Or did your momma teach you how to talk trash?

I don’t think somebody who spends his time trash talking on other team sites has a momma!
