you need to get your *** back on the battlefield man. havnt played with you in a while.

I really like the medal of Honor, plus I get the beta for Battlefield 3, and Call of Duty Black ops comes out next Tuesday. I still like Battlefield, but there are prettier games being shown to me. I follow the lights.

oh i agree that those plays where we threw it on 3rd and short were EPIC FAIL.

Especially since they are worst in run D and we are first O.

But that doesn’t measure up to not taking the easy 3. Which is Haley’s call.

Lol seriously. Epic fail. You play to much battlefield, and have had a suicide or two.

    Trading for Herm Edwards.

And keeping Herm Edwards for three years.

I will argue the Allen Trade was horrible. We did get a adequat LT in Brandon Albert and a good running back in J. Charles.

Cutting Pollard lit a spark under him which motivated him to work harder. If he was not cut, I am not sure he would be the same safety for the Chiefs as he is for Houston. It is one thing to disagree with the Coach but from what I have heard he did in the locker room (and that is only rumors) He deserved to go. Any one of us would have been fired if the rumors were true.

Your opinions don’t matter. They are worth less than the Chiefs are. My love of the Cowboys depends not on the opinions of others. You can think whatever you want. I just find it interesting that most of you can’t stick to football. I talk about a win and you make a hilarious joke about me. Lesson learned.

The Dallas Cowboys’ season can end in many ways. They could get it together and make it to the playoffs, winning their first playoff game in some time. Or they could continue to narrowly beat pathetic teams, while at the same time finding ways to hand games to better teams. That will not change the fact that the Chiefs are destined for no better than a 3-13 record. The Cowboys have a chance to do something good. The Chiefs are worthless.

Fact of the matter. It wasn’t a good game. It was truly a very poorly played game. The Chiefs are now ranked 32nd on defense, and our offense is close behind. The Cowpies did everything in their power to lose the game.

If the Cowpies keep playing like that. They are not going to breadk .500, which is truly a very big disgrace given the talent on the team.

As for watching the Cowpies play the Chiefs. Please… There isn’t an owner out there that I despise more than Jerry Jones, other than Al Davis. You can take your self proclaimed America’s Team and love youselves. You are very good at it as you displayed here. Enjoy the victory if it helps you hide the reality of what the Cowpies really are. Face lifts and really big expensive TV’s in a extensively over budget stadium does not make you a better football team.

Good luck living in La La land.

Gutierrez was going against practice squad guys and Croyle was facing 2nd team NFL players.

And Croyle looked like crap as usual and Gutie looked good. Promote and demote. You can alwasy move them back later.

I thought we were putting Cassel on the practice squad according to some of the posts I read. Are we all jumping on the Cassel bandwagon now.

I was very skeptical of him before we traded for him. Once they traded, I was kind of Uh, we will see, but still skeptical.

After the one game last Friday. Against a very good Defense, I was impressed and some what relieved. I didn’t know he was was mobile as he is, nor good throwing the ball on the run.

Based on that one gam, I am abl to make the assumption that he will be a good QB for us, but will still have bad games, but he is a drastic improvement over Croyle and Thigpen, and I LOVED Thigpen.

You’re saying Gutierrez is going to be 2nd string?

Based on the play of Croyle VS Gutie… I wouldn’t be suprised.

I saw the same old Croyle that I have watched the last three years. He has shown me absolutely nothing to think he is an NFL QB. He may practice better, but every time he is on the field, crap happens.

I wouldn’t be upset if Croyle was cut. Unless you count handing off balls, in which I think he was part of a fumble Friday night.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Croyle starts the next game in a couple days against the Vikes. That doesn’t mean I think he’ll be the starter at the regular season or that Cassel won’t see significant playing time against the Vikes. I just wouldn’t be surprised to see this happen. It’d give both Cassel and Croyle extra incentive to play and train harder and would be a play right out of the Todd Haley coaching book.

Based on Croyles play against Minnesota, I think it is up to him and Thigpen for the 3rd position. Frankly, I would rather keep Thigpen.

At least he took a hard shot to the Chin and still got up and played. Thats a plus.

in reply to: mark bradley #889055

I have high hopes for Bradley. Reports from Chicago was the same for the Bears last year, but he and his teammates didn’t get along so Chicago let him go to save the locker room.

He started out on fire, but I think as teams game planned around Thigpen, his production dropped and it seemed like Thigpen looked for Tony G or Drop Bowe more often and started forcing passes to both of them.

You are correct about building the OL. However you have to look at the big picture. Albert is our LT and a good one. You do not draft RT’s at #3. Either Johnathan Luigs, or Antoine Caldwell should be available to use in the forth round, both are capable of coming in and starting at center. With the adition of Goff our OL would be greatly improved. If no one currently on our roster stepps up at RT then we pick up some one or the RB and TE are going to have to help out .
The #3 pick has to be Curry if he’s there and the third rd pick has to be a DE. Sinse we are moving towards a 34 defense, it needs to be big and strong to play heads up over the OT’s, Jarron Gilbert and Kyle Moore are possibilities. I know alot of people want pass rushers and that is a concern, but I read a AFC west blog this morning that stated the chiefs gave up 8.1 yds per rushing attempt around the offenses left end. That means Hali and company did nothing on that side.
    :11:

I am not sold on Albert being a good LT yet. I think he and the offensive line was severly protected by Thigpens mobility and scrambling.

I have no problems with the Chiefs drafting another LT, move Albert to RT, or guard.

Dude, we wouldn’t be picking a OL in the first round. Maybe in the second and third. We need a defensive play maker.

I truly hope Pioli builds this team from the inside out. Starting with O-line. Can you imagine what Lj, Charles, Kolby, Cassle or Thigpen could do if there was actually blocking.

The tandum of Albert and Rookie Tackle will be a building block for years. It will help the investment of Cassle, and in the long run help the defense by controlling the game clock.

You can always get a line backer, or safety with a 15 or 20th pick that will be oustanding next year. It is rare to get the stud Offensive lineman that late in the draft. You have to strike now while we have the pick.

Yeah, probably they were pretending. Maybe it was pity. Who knows?

I am not going to say that I like Canada, because that would be GAY… but I would most likely come to his aid if he needed it, share a beer with him and talk Chiefs, just as I would with any other Chiefs fan. He is a die hard Chiefs fan who loves his team. There are much better people in this world to hate on.

The mere fact that you think he went to the mods crying could very well be the fact that the MODS could be friends with him, despite having to slap his hands for getting out of hand many times himself.

I am not picking a side here. Just stating that there is one person who dosen’t hate him as you suggested.

Fine, I’ll rephrase. There are still people who think we’re better off with Dorsey (we’d have drafted OL rather than Dorsey without the trade), Morgan, and Cottam than if we had JA.

The bridges weren’t burned entirely at the end of 2007. A new GM, and we could have kept JA as our franchise defensive player.

My uncle who has recently passed away, was some what friends with Jared. Actually they just drank together and he did a lot of work for Jared. He didn’t even follow the Chiefs, but he told me many times, that he was pretty sure that Jared would not be on the team in two years, which back then would have been the start of this year.

I just ingored him like he was an idiot because I never thought we would let him go. However, I truly believe now. That Jared never intended to play with KC after he became established.

We could have kept him as a Franchise Player, but that is a pretty hefty Cap hit every year. That would end up hurting this team.
