When a team is 2-14 how can you not improve? It doesn’t take anyone great to improve on that record. Like chief 31 said if the opportunity is there to maybe contend for a super bowl why not go for it now? Why wait another year or two? What if Cassell or Charles has a serious injury and aren’t the same player again? We have our core group of players to build around it has been long overdue to start filling in the pieces with great talent around them. I still think we are going to regress this year and we will have to wait and see on that one but I don’t see where we have done much to improve this season from last year.

I think this team can get to that level, and more important, maintain that level for a few years. Some big names can block our young guys. I prefer a young team than an all-star ready to go that will disappear next season.

I think if Pioli spends as anyone thinks, anyone can do his job. Maybe Al Davis should be our next GM and spend as wisely as he did, not to mention Faiders are above salary cap.
Haley and Pioli are picky on their players, not just on sports talent, also on off field attitude. Maybe thats why they don’t spend on players that everybody wants.

I think they did maintain this stay because it would be ridiculous to lift it for a couple weeks before appeal hearings.

On appeal can be both ways, totally uncertain.

I think that there are alot of players that would have been happy to take many of the offers the owners have made. They are the real ones hurting through all of this. your 3 or 4th year o line guy who doesn’t make nearly as much as much as the star players.

It’s sad that the union is more out for the peyton mannings of the world that make GOBS of money just in there contracts alone then they are for the less known players.

Why? You think he will make less with a different CBA? What owners had offered is pay less in compensations, specially rookies, to pay veterans more. Smaller salary caps will make little guys earn less, so teams can afford Payton Mannings of the world.

I follow a few Chiefs players on tweeter and they disagree with this new rule.
