As a Chargers fan I hope your prediction streak goes to 14-0. :smile

Well Bolt, you should enjoy this ride while you can because tho you do have a great QB, somewhat of a crybaby at times he is among the top QB’s. But check out your roster. Look at the age’s of many of your players. Hmmm, kinda gettin up there. And it shows. It take’s longer and longer each year for you guys to get the ball rolling and again next year I’m sure the same thing will happen. We are young and growing and will only get better as time goes on. So next year by the time you start getting around and winning some games, your season will be over. Then it will be off to LA. We have gone from a 4-12 season to 9-5 as of now. You have big name players, stars sorta speak, we have players most other fans have never heard of yet because we are just the Chiefs. But we are in first place. And thats all that really matters right now. Who knows, maybe AJ will cut Norv after you don’t make the playoffs this year. Stranger things have happen. We may not get far in the playoffs, but the fun part is keeping you out just as we did last year with the Bronco’s. :chiefs:

We need to force some turnovers, keep the pressure on Collins, keep Washington and Britt well covered. According to Picking Pro’s the Chiefs have a 78 percent chance of walking away with a win Sunday…. Titans vs Chiefs Matchup, Projections for Tennessee at Kansas City Week 16 2010

    GO CHIEFS!

I wouldn’t be surprised if Croyle starts the next game in a couple days against the Vikes. That doesn’t mean I think he’ll be the starter at the regular season or that Cassel won’t see significant playing time against the Vikes. I just wouldn’t be surprised to see this happen. It’d give both Cassel and Croyle extra incentive to play and train harder and would be a play right out of the Todd Haley coaching book.

Bowe was knocked down to third string for dropping some ball so why can’t Cassel get dropped down to the #2 spot for his performance on saturday? :owws:

If the Faiders cut him it’s because he didn’t have a rap sheet/criminal record, lol

    11-5, AFC WEST CHAMPS:bananen_smilies046: :bananen_smilies046:

We cannot really compair The Cards to The Chiefs and Stats don’t really matter. The fact is yes we have their DC and we have their OC as our head coach. The fact is this is a whole new football team, New GM, New Players, New QB, New everything and we are starting with a clean slate and we Will be a changed team by the end of the 09 season, we may have a slow start but we will rock the AFC West once again. BELIEVE IT!!!

I think with a good draft and even better coaching we could be a force to be reckoned with, sorta speak. We have to remember that Verbal, Tony G, Larry J, and some others will only be around for a shot time, so it will be up to them to help in that process and unlike Lamar I hope tony gets to the Superbowl before his game time is up and I would like it very much if it was as a Chief.

I was a little suprised at the FA choices we made because of age and not really anything special, but I also belive they or some of them bring good leadership we much needed to a very young team. I too am unsure about Haley but again, as history shows us change can be good for everyone and this could very well be a break out year for our Chiefs. Can’t wait till draft day and who we get @ # 3…..

in reply to: Anyone else not that impressed? #874857

I’m glad Clark hired Pioli and Pioli hired Haley and I’m glad they hired Cassell, he’s young and with the right coaching he could very well be a great QB someday but I do tend to question some of the older trades. I agree on not spending a boat load of money on a few great players but the older players are only a short term fix though great for leadership. So I might question why, I would never lose my devotion to the Chiefs. I have been with’em for over 22 years and I’ll most likely get burried in some thing red the has the words “Kansas City Chiefs” on it. I just hope this is our year to shine, and nothing would please me more than a complete shut out of all afc west games. Right now we are the only stable team in the afc west and I’m Mc Lovin it. Denver fans want to trade Cutler for Cassell, Al Davis is still nuts and will fire his HC after game 3 and San Diego is doing nothing so far so no big change there. So just like every year past, this year I Have Faith In My Chiefs, I want to see, hear and feel Arrowhead rumble once again as they did in years past. So here’s to the 09 Kansas City Chiefs, May they kick butt and take names and make us all proud once more…….Thank You, Thank You, lol

Pioli in the mix is a big factor plus Haley is now a HC, with a good draft and the talent we already have and some real coaching, I see good things happening this year.

    I just found this,

The NFL hands Herm Edwards a one game suspension for impersonating an NFL Coach, however he is still getting paid.
In other news, ‘Herms the man’ has been located. It seems he has set his email to auto send his retarded remarks to the kcstar at will. ‘Herms the man’ was found swinging from a street lamp outside arrowhead stadium. By the looks of his rotting carcass, he has been there since week 2.
