So you have some great inside knowledge on how the team prepared (or did not in your estimation) for the AFC Championship game? And that it was “so clear” that the Pats were “FAR more prepared”? This game still strikes a bad chord for most Chiefs fans who feel that we were one bad call (TB roughing passer) or one bonehead move (Dee Ford) away from the Super Bowl (which we would have won). So yeah, your insider information about how the teams poor preparation caused the defeat smacks as nothing more than pandering on an opponent board and is pretty lame. But carry on. I’ve said what I wanted to say.

You’re taking one line out of a post and ignoring the rest? I spend the rest of that post talking about our defense getting better. I have talked about that in several other post as well. But you are going to pick one line in one post?

Other than that, Reid is the same old Reid: you know exactly what you are getting with him, a fabulous opening script, then downhill after that. Horrendous clock management, undisciplined offense, etc. etc.

“I can’t disagree with this to much

In the AFC title game it could not have been more clear the Patriots were FAR and away the more prepared team. They won in part due to the work they did getting ready for the game and it wasn’t even close. IMO”

Sorry man. That’s pandering ***** bull****. You are looking for love on an opponent’s fan forum. We lost that game because Dee Ford lined up in the neutral zone. I have a differing opinion about what a fan is. Be critical of your team, but ON YOUR OWN FORUM. Just my opinion.

It’s not so much your dislike for Andy Reid, but your pandering of the Patriots fans on their board. For example, in post #5 when a fan spouts a litany of insults on the Chiefs, including using terms like “utter garbage” when describing their interior OL, your reply was “I can’t disagree with a lot of this…” I would have been hurling the **** at them at that point.

I get it, and agree that his track record as a head coach in big games is not what Belichick’s is. And bemoaning this and criticizing on a Chiefs fan forum is not only understood, but expected. But what is the point of doing it on a Pat’s fan forum? As a Chief fan, what is your motivation? Just curious. I certainly agree that being a blind fan is idiotic. But being a loyal fan should carry some certain expectations. And one would be not going on the arch-enemy’s (yes the Pats are outside of the division) fan forum days before the big game spouting negativity about your own team (or at least puffing up the other team). This is just my opinion of course, and difference of opinion is good as you say, no?

Yes, you’ve made it patently clear how much you despise Andy Reid and love the great Bill Belichick over on the Patriot’s forum:
    https://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patriots/messageboard/threads/from-a-chiefs-fan.1150715/

Your admiration for the Patriots, and apparent great desire to be accepted by New England fans, even at the risk of offending Chief’s fans, is quite revealing.

I wonder if the NFL didn’t cut him a bit of slack because of the classy way that the Chiefs organization handled the Kareem Hunt situation.

Oh, wait, I see the post. Took me a while to dig through all the web news that you can find anywhere before I found it.

Ok. Again, came back here looking for a flurry of activity regarding the Tyreek Hill situation. I can’t find anything. If there is a member post on it I can’t find anything because it would be buried in the 10,000 web news posts that nobody replies to. This forum setup is stupid.

Ok. Off season. But not even the draft, nor the Tyreek situation generated any activity, unless I missed it, buried by all the web news. Seriously, can’t webnews be placed in a forum separate from users posts?

Thanks. But you must admit, this forum has gone quiet. This was always the civilized alternative to getting beat up over at Chiefs Planet.

I saw this on another board and thought it lent an interesting perspective:

“In the postgame press conference, he says he played Ward and Smith because he wanted to get a good look at them. He says Berry hit his snap count, and they pulled him at that point, as planned.

Fuller was expected to start, but he didn’t go.
    Parker was inactive.
Scandrick (as far as I can tell) never saw the field.
Erving practiced all week, but he didn’t see the field.

Is it possible that Reid basically decided to take kind of a soft “rest the starters” approach to this game with the expectation that we’ll easily beat the Raiders next week?”

Rest Scandrick, and play Mahomes the whole game? Heh, heh… Now isn’t that the silliest thing I’ve ever heard

I told you no way in hell NFL would letvusxwin. We might as well havecFF before the game and give the rigged NFL a middle finger!! 3rd and goal once they seen they didnt score poof a flag to give em a 1st down!! Has hapoened in every loss we have!! The receiver tripped himself up trying to spin. Phantom flag when they saw they didnt score!! Same bs against the raiders a few tears ago!!

Enough with the conspiracy theory nonsense. We’re just not good enough to win close games. Accept it.

Good move. Sets the right precedent. Tells the rest of the team, “don’t f up, because it brings this team down”. Next man up! Spencer Ware! A minor bump on our road to the Super Bowl!
