Look, I just started this thread because anyone that said anything a little bit derogatory against the decisions being made were, in my opinion, getting hammered. I know I work with a lot of people who are Chief’s fans and they didn’t agree with a lot of them. I just wondered if anyone here felt the same way.

its all good. I just think this is a time of peace between all chiefs fans because we all finally have a newfound hope in new management/players. Something we have been lacking for 3 years. I admit, we got spoiled during the Dicky V era. Then we suffered through hell and now we have hope.

We do not know if we will make the playoffs or even go .500 this coming year…but what we do know is

#1 Herm Edwards is NOT coaching us (THANK GOD!!!!!!!)
#2 Carl Peterson is spending his nights in the bar with Herm drinking until they pass out.

HAHAHAHA!! nothing like a little hate before season starts. it’s all good, trust me!! Once the Cheifs start winning, it will just be a giant love fest!!!!!!!!!!!! there will be no enemies in the Chiefs camp. That is just how it works.

I agree with post. Sorry everyone had to put up with me through the Herm era, but I am all about peace now that we have hope in KC!!!! We all went through 3 years of #$$%#%. Yes one year we actually “made: the playoffs miraculously through 3 teams losing in the final week…but even that year was CRAAAAAAAAAAP.Things are freekin’ awesome in KC!!! We have huge anticipation for the opening game alone!!! Last year I had no hope at the beginning of the season, nor reason to have hope. THIS YEAR I GET TO BE EXCITED ABOUT CHIEFS FOOTBALL AGAIN!!!!! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I just got a woody.

Thats all well and good if Cassel proves to be THAT much better than Thig. Its just an opinion.
Now step on the gas pedal….

what you dont understand is that cassel also has trade value..and even pigpen, i mean, thigpen, has some trade value. So we can always use the “other” qb as leverage to get a player we need if that scenerio takes place.THE TRADE FOR CASSEL WAS A GREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT RISK!!! HANDS DOWN.

the reason i got thrown under the bus here 2 years ago or so is because I bashed herm from the beginning as soon as he said that crap that we are gonna do things different here in KC…no more offensive juggernauts…run run pass punt…..defense defense defense. I already knew what would happen over time, but since I was on it too early and said herm had to go before he even came and rode on him every day I was thrown under the bus. But it is all good. Now prough deserves to be thrown under the bus because of his idiotic comments that we are not taking the right steps thus far. it isnt like we can just draft and trade to get a superbowl team this year?!!?!?! I mean, COME ON!!! Look at where we are coming from. We finally got rid of the old administration….but things cannot completely turn around before our new leader even has HIS FIRST GAME!!!!!Prough, you desever to be thrown under the bus FAR MROE than I did when I wanted Herm out even before his first game.

I am ecstatic about our new coaching staff and the decisions of getting Cassel, etc. ECSTATIC!!There is no kool-aid to be drank or drunken or drankededed. No one is saying we are going to the superbowl or might be going to the superbowl (besides yahoo)It is a rebuilding time. 3 years ago was SUPPOSE to be a rebuilding time, but it was anything but. “This is our time.
