I was at training camp Sunday, and I thought Matt Cassel was throwing well then. It’s awfully hot too, was 110’…no doubt sweat in the eyes will be an issue, as I saw the majority of players, including Cassel wipe sweat often from their heads & eyes. I’m not making excuses, just sayin…if he had a couple bad days, the heat might have been a factor.

Assuming you’re serious…those are some of the most far fetched rumor’s I think I’ve heard in the NFL yet!!

‘IF’ the Chiefs had any interest in Favre…it would be a short term contract as back up to Cassel in my humble opinion, and wouldn’t give up Charles for such.

I’m the same way Matthew…with exception of the NFL, would rather spend time on my PC discussing the Chiefs here, or talking to friends & family at Facebook, working on or creating graphics, learning to use Photoshop, etc..

TV just can’t hold my interest. If they brought back some of the shows I use to enjoy yrs ago…I might watch TV again, but that ain’t happening! haha

Well, with it being just me, my TV is only on during NFL season. It’s not been turned on now since Super Bowl, likely won’t be turned back on until pre-season begins. I lost interest in TV likley a decade ago, when all the reality & magazine shows began to take over.

I think they began at least teaching the metric system more than they use to in school. I don’t ever remember being taught the metric system. I have a conversion chart I have to refer to often.

The US also spells many words differently than other countries who use English as their primary language. For instance…most are taught to spell realize with a ‘z’…but the proper European spelling, which was the original way to spell it…is with an ‘s’…realise.

Other examples are: favor vs favour…there are many words like favor of which the American spelling omits the ‘u’.
