Member::I like Allegretti, he is a plug in for depth at center. he is not all pro quality but he is solid, and who knows, he may even get better over time. and I think Thompson is a good pick up at RB..could see the field on third downs or even to spell Williams. how about a two back set w both he and Williams going out as receivers? I am not to excited about Fenton…hopefully he surprises me.

Not a bad overall draft haul. I like it better than what I saw in 2009 and 2010 which were both Barfsville to me.
Thanks for the vid of the RB, Dugster. He does seem to nice combination of power, balance, and speed and he was a Junior that came out early.
he does seem to have kareem hunt type abilities w less speed…I hope the similarity ends w on the field

Member::the CHIEFS did indeed far exceed my expectations in the beginning of the season….but unfortunately that allowed me to get my hopes up to high only to half them crushed once more. I haven’t posted here or anywhere in a long time. since the 2013 gutwrenching playoff loss I have tried not to let myself get my hopes up too high or too emotionally invested. this year however I let myself get caught up after the rams game and thought , hey this team is pretty damn good. we have a real shot. then we broke the curse, I was sure we were headed for the super bowl. I knew we could beat either the chargers or pats at home. what I don’t understand is what happened to the pass rush….no pressure on brady all game. how did belichik scheme that. if we think of all the chances we had to beat them, the missed opportunities and miscues, bad calls etc… we are every bit as good as the patriots…maybe better. Thomas wide open for TD, Hill open for TD, Berry dropped int, the muffed? punt [not clear it did not touch bicep or if let roll would have been inside 10yd line], bogus ruffing call, dee offside, lost timeout on stupid challenge, uncharacteristic crappy start to game. like every other end of the season we always say “wait next year”, maybe this year it really means something”

Member::I kno I have posted this years ago here…..I started rooting for the then Dallas Texans in 1960….I was about 7……and it was because of the NY Yankees……all my family and friends were yankee fans…..along came the PIRATES and upset them in the world series….and I became a rooter of underdogs. and the underdog American Football League came along…..so i picked a team with the coolest logo……a cowboy riding a horse with a lasso [reminded of Pecos Bill],,,,and they were pretty darn good…..then they moved to KC and had an Indian Chief riding a horse w/a tomahawk logo….life is good…..and yes I am a PIRATE fan too.

Member::if i were king of the forrrrrest [colts gm] i would have kept manning, traded the #1 pick, beefed up the O line and grabbed either a QB like flynn in FA and/or in the draft 2nd round on…build for the future and salvage this year. the extra picks from the trade would go along way to shore up this team.

Member::after reciting this tory to my employies one told us his fav. stupid criminal story. a robber held up a tire store at gun point demanding the money in the drawer and in the safe. salesman tells him only the owner has the key to the safe and is not there. robber gives his cell # tells him to have owner call him and that he would be back! the owner complied, the robber did return only to find the police waiting…… i would have dismissed this as an exageration or totaly made up but he might have been related to your guy and had about the same IQ so who knows?

As for Joe P, I am sorry for his family, and yes he will go down in the history books as one of College footballs greats, but for me, I never really like him.Joe was NOT his superior, sandusky was no longer employed at Penn State when the shower incident happened. he retired 3 years earlier although he still had privledges at the university and that was per the AD which IS whom Joe reported it to.
