Participant::I joined this board right before the 2009 season
In that time we had the entire Todd Haley Scott Pioli era The Romeo Crennel disaster season and more than a couple of heart breaker postseason Ls.
And now we have not 1 but 2 Super Bowl titles in the last 4 years.
At some point this is going to end. SO enjoy it all now.
WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD

The ’85 Bears were one of the best teams of all time and they only won one Super Bowl. They didn’t even make it to a second one. The Chiefs have already been to 3 in the last 4 years and won 2 of them!
We are likely witnessing the start of an NFL dynasty like Aikman’s Cowboys, Montana’s and Young’s 49ers or Brady’s Patriots, but you never know. Things can change very quickly in this league. So celebrate each win. Let those rare losses roll of your backs, knowing the Chiefs will probably win the next one. And enjoy the ride while it lasts.

Because of what happened over the forty plus years before the Reid era began, a lot of football fans in the area switched to other teams. No shortage of Cowboys, Steelers, Broncos, Patriots, or Raiders fans here (most of which turned into the Eagles’ defense legal team the morning after SB 57). All them are scoffing at the idea of KC being a dynasty. Tough seeing the forest through all the trees.
IMO, we’re there. It started the second the owner gave an underwhelming GM the boot (Like the other dynasties did) brought in much better coaches (like they did) assembled better rosters (like they did) and made changes when improvement was needed (like they did).
