6 Rules Proposed by the League’s Competition Committee
1. Expanding the Definition of a launch to taking the action with one or both feet.
2. Making the Tripping Penalty a Personal Foul.
3. Making the Penalty for Illegally handing the ball forward more consistent with other Illegal acts — Such as Illegal Forward Passes
4. Making the Penalty for Illegal Punts, Drop Kicks or Place Kicks consistent with other illegal acts — Such as Illegal Forward Passes
5.Preventing an Offense from Benefitting from an extension of the First Half as a result of their Penalty

1. Eagles Amending Rule 5, Section 1, Article 2, Now Permits the Number Zero (0) as a numeral and Allows Punters and Kickers to Selects Jersey numbers Between (0-49) and (90-99)
2. Chargers, Amending Rule 4 Section 6 Article 3 and (Section 7 Article 4) to make the adjustment to the Play Clock following an Instant Replay Reversal Consistent with other timing rules
3. Texans, amending Rule 15, section 1 , article 2, To expand the Replay officials jurisdiction to allow for review on failed 4th down attempts
2 of the Committee’s Proposed Rules Changes Not Approved
1. Moving Punt Touchbacks from the 20 yardline to the 25 yardline (Voted Down)
2. Providing that on a Free Kick, (a Kickoff or a Safety Kick) that is Fair Caught behind the receiving teams 25 yardline, the ball will be placed at the receiving teams 25 yardline (Tabled For Now)

#’s 2 & 3 I can understand, but looking forward to hearing about the examples that caused it to be brought forward.
#1, can’t believe the Eagles even wasted paper on. Who wants to be known as “Zero” on their team?
