He defently was the bigest bright spot for the royals this year. Maybe one day he will wear the jersey for my indians THATS RIGHT I SAID IT WANNA FIGHT ABOUT IT.
Yes I do want to fight about it! I want Zack with the Royals a long time if not his whole career! Heh, besides if the Tribe let Sabathia and Lee go, it’d only be a little while before they’d let Greinke go too.
Way to go Zack! This is wonderful news. We all know he deserved the Cy Young and thought he’d get it, but had a little concern that just maybe he’d be spurned because of the Royals record. Glad 25 of 28 voted the right way cuz Zack certainly had nothing to do with the Royals losing record. 16-8, 2.16 era on this team is nothing short of phenominal.
I was thinking this morning when they announced that he was a finalist that he should be hands down winner. The fact he was able to milk out 16 wins and put up the numbers he did on this team speaks volumes about how good he is.
He would likely have been a 20 game winner with the Cardinals.
